Ariel Marsh

Cal Poly Pomona’s Ariel Marsh has been named California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Player of the Week for Jan. 19-15.

Marsh, an Ayala High School graduate, reached a substantial milestone on Saturday night against Cal State San Bernardino, as a first-half three-pointer boosted her over the 1,000 point mark in her career as a Bronco. Her 6-for-12 tally, complete with four triples and a perfect 4-of-4 from the line earned her 20 points on the night.

The previous night she registered 20 points against conference leader Humboldt State, going 7-for-14 and sinking three triples.

Marsh, a Regenerative Studies graduate student, has started all 16 games for CPP and averages 18.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. She also sits less than one percentage point behind first place in the conference in the free throw percentage category.
