Cal Poly Pomona to host CCAA soccer championships

CCAA tourney winner

Cal Poly Pomona has been named host of the next CCAA soccer tournament. Games at Kellogg Field will be Nov. 6-8 with first round games will be at various campus sites on Nov. 3.

Cal State Stanislaus had served as host in five of the last six seasons.

“Certainly our teams have been successful and are in a pretty good place right now,” Athletic Director Brian Swanson said. “It’s great to be able to host and have our friends and family and those that support us there. We had a lot of trips North last year for championships so that gets expensive.”

The Cal Poly Pomona men and Cal State Los Angeles women are the defending champions.
