Three sophomores from Citrus College have decided their next destination. That trio includes Olivia Montgomery, Jaelyn Wilson, and Jasmin Longtin. Montgomery is moving on to UC Irvine while Wilson is attending UC Riverside. Longtin will also stay close to home at Biola.
Montgomery was a first team All-WSC South Selection this past year, averaging 14.7 points and 6.4 rebounds a game. Montgomery’s highlight came against Bakersfield, when she had a career high 28 with 18 rebounds.
Wilson, a product of Colony High school, averaged 15.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, and 1.1 steals a game with 13 double-doubles. Her career high of 30 came against Antelope Valley.
Rounding was a key contributor for Citrus over the last two seasons, providing energy and rebounding for the Owls. As a sophomore Longtin averaged six points and six boards a game.
