Sophomore forward Kyle Benton of San Bernardino Valley College has signed a letter of intent with North Carolina Central.

Benton averaged 13.4 points and a team-high 7.6 rebounds, earning first-team All-Foothill Conference honors in helping the Wolverines to a conference title.

Benton, a graduate of St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, had a season best of 27 against Pasadena in a non-conference contest.

North Carolina Central University is located in Durham, N.C.  It went 25-8 and 16-0 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
