A woman who was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in connection with a fight and a vehicle chase that ended in the death of 20-year-old Running Springs man failed to appear in Superior Court.
Court officials confirmed that a bench warrant was issued for defendant Christina Marhoun when she didn’t appear for arraignment on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm, during morning proceedings in San Bernardino Superior Court.
Marhoun, 20, allegedly struck someone during a fight near a campsite on Keller Peak Road, in Running Springs, on June 21, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. Three people involved in the altercation fled in a car.
