Cajon Pass closures - now set for October

|

Cal Trans has changed its mind about closing the Cajon Pass on weekends and instead will concentrate all the work in October.


The original plan called for nine weekend closures this summer
and next, but officials want to reduce the pain to motorists by
getting the work done as quickly as possible.

The work is now scheduled to have major closures starting Sept. 29 and going through October.
