The California Highway Patrol is diverting westbound Interstate 40 traffic to Interstate 15 in Daggett due to a tractor trailer that burst into flames near the U.S. Marine Corps Depot after striking the center divider. The driver escaped the semi.

Starting Monday until Friday the connector road from the northbound 15 to the southbound 215 will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. The connectors from the northbound 215 to the southbound 15 and the southbound 15 to the southbound 215 will also be closed during that time. The southbound 15 from the Kenwood bridge to Cleghorn will have only one lane open from 8 p.m. until 7 a.m. starting Monday and ending Friday.

The CHP has issued a Sig-alert on the southbound 605 at Ramona Boulevard due to an overturned cement truck with cement spilled on the freeway.
