Asphalt spill/Sig-alert, Highway 71, Chino Hills 5:42 a.m.

A tractor trailer overturned on the northbound 71 at Soquel Canyon Parkway, leaving about 150 feet of hot asphalt on the roadway. The CHP has closed the carpool lanes on both sides of the highway, along with two additional lanes on the southbound side and one northbound lane. Update: All lanes were reopened at 9:56 a.m.
