Fatal traffic collision, Highway 62, Whitewater 5:31 a.m.

The CHP has closed southbound Highway 62 at Dillon Road near Palm Springs for a fatal traffic collision involving two cars and a pedestrian. Caltrans has been called for a possible long term closure, the CHP reports. Update: Highway has been reopened.
