Lane closures, I-10, Colton 12:57 p.m.

Caltrans has shut down one lane each on the east and westbound Interstate 10 for tree cutting. The CHP reported traffic is backed up on the westbound side between Mt. Vernon and 9th Street.

Traffic is flowing smoothly on major highways including the I-10, I-215, I-210, Highway 60 and most of Highway 91. There is some congestion on the westbound 91 at Main Street, according to Caltans.

Sig-alert, Highway 60, Chino 1:23 a.m.

The slow lane of the eastbound 60 east of Ramona Avenue has been closed for several hours due to a spill.

Construction closure, I-15, Barstow 1:10 p.m.

One lane of the northbound Interstate 15 north of Highway 247 has been closed for construction. The CHP reported that traffic is beginning to back up.

Area overview - Traffic congestion in Riverside 6:35 a.m.

Highway 91 westbound is backed up at Grand Avenue and Serfas Club Drive. The CHP also issued a traffic advisory about slowing traffic due to a crash on the westbound 91 through Corona. All other major highways are clear.

Sig-alert, I-15, Yermo 8:12 a.m.

The CHP has issued a Sig-alert following a traffic collision on the northbound Interstate 15 just north of Field Road. The fast lane is closed.

Sig-alert, I-10, West Covina 3:55 a.m.

A crash between a car and a tractor trailer has resulted in two lanes of the westbound Interstate 10 east of Holt Boulevard being shut down. The big rig jackknifed, blocking lanes and spilling fuel onto the road. The closure is expected to last until 7:15 a.m., the CHP said.

Overturned vehicle, I-215, San Bernardino 7:37 a.m.

A vehicle overturned on the Base Line Road off-ramp from the southbound Interstate 215, the CHP reported. The off-ramp is blocked and an ambulance is responding.

Area overview - Slight backups in Chino, otherwise clear 5:57 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting some slowing traffic on the westbound 60 at Central Avenue and congestion on the westbound 91 just past the 15 interchange, but traffic is otherwise clear.

Sig-alert, I-215, San Bernardino 9:31 a.m.

A crash on the northbound 215 has forced the closure of several lanes on both side of the freeway. The CHP has reported the Sig-alert will last about two hours.

Traffic advisory, I-210, Ontario 6:55 a.m.

Two lanes are closed on the eastbound 210 due to a vehicle fire on the right shoulder. The CHP advises that westbound traffic is also backed up due to looky loo drivers.

Area overview - highways mostly clear 6:02 a.m.

No areas of major congestion are on area freeways including I-10, I-215, Highway 60 and I-210. Some backups are on the westbound 91at Main Street in Riverside.

Sig-alert, Highway 60, Mira Loma 3:56 a.m.

A crash involving a tractor trailer and a car occurred on the westbound 60 at Etiwanda Avenue, resulting in a Sig-alert. The alert was expected to last until at least 6 a.m.

Three vehicles are blocking the roadway on the southbound I-15 just north of E. Baker Blvd. Paramedics have responded.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Ontario 6:20 a.m.

A crash involving two vehicles occurred on the eastbound 60 at Mountain Avenue. The vehicles are blocking a lane, the CHP reported, and an ambulance is responding.

The northbound Interstate 15 has an area of congestion through Ontario at Sixth Street. Other area highways are flowing smoothly.

Area overview - heavy traffic in San Bernardino, Riverside

Caltrans is reporting backed up traffic on the northbound 215 at Mill Street and Orange Show Road and the westbound 91 from Arlington Avenue through 9th Street. The eastbound 91 at Serfas Club Drive is also heavily congested.

Sig-alert, I-10, Loma Linda 3:11 a.m.

A jackknifed tractor trailer is blocking all lanes of the westbound Interstate 10 at Mountain View Avenue. The CHP is diverting traffic off the freeway at Mountain View and right back on. The closure is expected to last until about 7 a.m. Update: The CHP has opened two westbound lanes.

Sig-alert, I-15, Devore 7:46 a.m.

The CHP has issued a Sig-alert for the northbound 15 at Glen Helen Road due to a two-car crash. Both vehicles crashed in railing and one caught fire. Two lanes are blocked the CHP reported.

Overturned dump truck, Highway 57, Pomona 6:39 a.m.

A three-axle dump truck overturned and landed on an embankment on the southbound 57 at Temple Avenue, causing a 100-foot dirt spill at the Temple on-ramp, the CHP reported. The on-ramp is closed for cleanup.

Overturned tractor trailer, I-40, Barstow 4:08 a.m.

One lane of the westbound 40 east of Barstow is blocked by an overturned tractor trailer. Update: Lane cleared at 7:22 a.m.

Area overview - Some congestion, high wind advisory 5:55 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting moderate traffic congestion on the westbound Highway 91 west of the I-15 and the northbound 15 in Ontario. Other highways such as the I-10, I-215, I-210 are clear. The CHP is reporting gusty winds on the 15 north of the 210 and high winds throughout the San Bernardino area. Officers are asking drivers of high-profile vehicles to use caution.

Road closure, San Timoteo Canyon Rd, Redlands 5:30 p.m.

Road was closed after a car slammed into a utility pole, bringing it and the power lines down onto the road. Closure is between W. Fern Ave. and Alesandro Rd. It is scheduled to reopen about 3 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting some backed up traffic on the northbound Interstate 15 north of Fourth Street in Ontario, but other area highways are clear.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Chino 5:49 a.m.

A crash involving three vehicles including a large box truck occurred on the eastbound 60 at Ramona Avenue. Vehicles are blocking the carpool and fast lanes.

Sig-alert, I-210, San Dimas 1:07 p.m.

A truck leaking diesel fuel caused two vehicles to spin out on the eastbound 210 at the southbound 57 interchange. The CHP shut down the transition road for cleanup. The duration of the Sig-alert is unknown.

Traffic collision, I-10, Ontario 8:07 a.m.

A crash involving a car and a tractor trailer occurred on the eastbound 10 just west of Milliken Avenue. Initial reports indicated a vehicle slid off the side of the freeway, the CHP reported.

Area overview - no backups on area freeways 6:17 a.m.

Traffic is flowing smoothly on major freeways including the I-10, I-215, I-60 and I-15. There is some congestion on the westbound 91 just west of the 15, but it's otherwise clear.

Vehicle over the side, Highway 38, Angelus Oaks 7:36 a.m.

Emergency crews are responding to a report of a vehicle that plunged over the side of Highway 38 at Manzanita Avenue. Witnesses saw the driver of a white Ford Expedition swerving on the road prior to the accident. Lanes are blocked.

Overturned vehicles, Highway 173, Rimforest 7:16 a.m.

A two-vehicle collision occurred on the 173 north of Highway 18. Both vehicles are overturned and blocking both sides of the highway, the CHP reported.

Traffic is slowing on the northbound 15 through Ontario, but other major highways are clear, Caltrans reports.

Sig-alert, I-40, east of Barstow 5:28 a.m.

A tractor trailer carrying 20,000 pounds of tennis shoes overturned on the eastbound Interstate 40 east of Barstow and is blocking a lane, the CHP reports. A Sig-alert was issued in the 2:44 a.m. crash and the fast lane shut down so crews could upright the rig. The duration of the closure was not known.

Sig-alert, Highway 91, Corona 12:48 p.m.

A trailer has become detatched from a big rig and is blocking three freeway lanes on the eastbound 91 west of Grand Boulevard. The Sig-alert has been issued for an unknown duration.

Traffic collision, Interstate 210, Fontana 11:58 a.m.

A big rig and at least one other vehicle collided on the westbound 210 east of Cherry Avenue. One of the vehicles is blocking the carpool lane.

Traffic collision, I-10, San Bernardino 12:04 p.m.

A crash involving a FedEx truck and a car occurred on the eastbound 10 just west of Tippecanoe Avenue. One of the vehicles is blocking the slow lane and an ambulance is responding.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Jurupa Valley 11:26 a.m.

Lanes of the eastbound Highway 60 have been shut down so an overturned box truck can be uprighted. The crash between the truck and another vehicle occurred just west of the Highway 91 interchange at 9:39 a.m. The lanes are expected to be closed for about 20 minutes.

Traffic is heavy along the northbound 15 at Fourth Street through south Ontario. Other major highways are clear of any major congestion, Caltrans reports.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Diamond Bar 8:56 a.m.

A motorist slammed into a light pole on the Diamond Bar Boulevard off-ramp off eastbound Highway 60, knocking the pole to the ground, the CHP reported. An ambulance is responding.

Area overview - Heavy traffic in Ontario 6:42 a.m.

Heavy traffic is on the southbound Interstate 15 and the transition roads to the east and westbound Interstate 10. All other area highways are clear, according to Caltrans.

Report of fog, Cajon Pass 6:16 a.m.

Some mist over Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass is resulting in a few vehicle spin-outs on the freeway, the CHP reports.

Traffic collision, I-10, Pomona 5:50 a.m.

A crash between a bobtail truck and a vehicle occurred on the westbound 10 just before the northbound Highway 57 interchange. The vehicles are being moved off the freeway at Via Verde Avenue.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Riverside, 2:36 p.m.

A traffic collision involving 3 to 4 cars and a dead animal has been cleared up but may still be causing slowing just eeast of Mission Blvd.

Cargo spill, Highway 60, Ontario, noon

A truck has spilled a rubberized material onto the Euclid Avenue off-ramp from westbound Highway 60. The CHP has shut down the off-ramp for at least the next 15 minutes for cleanup.

Traffic is slowing on the northbound 15 near Fourth Street, Caltrans reports. Other major highways are moving smoothly.

Report of fire, Highway 60, Diamond Bar 6:51 a.m.

A vehicle spilled an unknown type of debris onto the eastbound 60 near the northbound Highway 57. Witnesses reported to the CHP the debris is on fire and is spread out for several miles.

Traffic collision, I-15, Hesperia 6:18 a.m.

A vehicle slid across the southbound Interstate 15, struck a tractor trailer and then slid back into the center divider just south of Oak Hills Road, the CHP said. There were no injuries.

Sig-alert, I-15, Barstow, 10:28 a.m.

A vehicle that flipped on the northbound 15 at Field Road is blocking one lane of traffic and a guard rail damaged in the crash is in the fast lane, the CHP reports. The driver received minor injuries. The Sig-alert was expected to last for an hour.

A vehicle overturned on the eastbound 60 just west of Phillips Ranch Road, the CHP reported. The vehicle was blocking the carpool lane, but was expected to be moved from the lane by about 6:20 a.m.

Traffic advisory, I-15, Ontario, 6:39 a.m.

A rollover crash on the right shoulder of the northbound 15 south of Jurupa Avenue has caused traffic congestion south of the accident, the CHP reports.

Traffic is backed up on the eastbound 60 at Haven and Milliken, as well as the westbound 91 at Lincoln. Other major highways - I-10, I-215, I-210 - are clear, according to Caltrans.

Fatal traffic collision, Highway 62, Morongo Valley 3 a.m.

A fatal hit-and-run traffic collision has occurred on Highway 62 at Rawson Road, the CHP reports. Officers have shut down one side of the highway and are alternating the remaining lane for traffic in both directions.

A cement truck struck the center divider and flipped on the westbound 60 at Valley Way, the CHP reports. The truck is blocking two lanes of traffic. The driver received minor injuries.

The CHP is reporting a possible head-on collision along Highway 38 at East Shay Road. Vehicles are blocking lanes in both directions. An ambulance is responding.

A crash involving at least two vehicles has occurred on the southbound 215 at University Parkway, the CHP reported. One vehicle is by the center divider and another is on the right shoulder. An ambulance is responding.

Traffic collision, Interstate 40, Needles 5:58 a.m.

A motorist in a sedan crashed into the center divider on the westbound 40 near Broadway Street. An ambulance is responding.

Sig-alert, I-10, Claremont 5:25 a.m.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert for a four-vehicle crash on the westbound 10 west of Indian Hill Boulevard. The vehicles were blocking four lanes including the carpool lane. Officers canceled the Sig-alert at 5:52 a.m.

Overturned vehicle, Highway 71, Chino Hills 12:39 p.m.

A vehicle on southbound Highway 71 overturned onto the right shoulder at Soquel Canyon Parkway. An ambulance is responding.

Lane closure, I-15, Corona 9:50 a.m.

A lane closure on the southbound Interstate 15 at Cajalco Road has traffic backed up past Ontario Avenue, the CHP reports. The duration of the lane closure is not known.
