Sig-alert, I-215, Colton 5:32 a.m.

The CHP is preparing to issue a Sig-alert for a serious-injury car crash on the northbound I-215 at Mt. Vernon Avenue. The fast lane and a second lane is blocked and debris has scattered onto north- and southbound lanes. Initial reports indicated one person had been thrown from a vehicle and another was possibly trapped under another car. Update: All lanes reopened at 6:52 a.m.
