All area highways - I-10, I-210, Highway 60 and 91, I-215 and I-15 - have no major backups at this time.
Two cars crashed on the eastbound 10 east of Indian Hill Boulevard. The drivers were racing each other prior to the colllision, the CHP said. Two lanes are blocked.

High winds and ice have prompted the closure of Highway 18 between Lake Gregory and Rimforest. CHP reported the winds were pushing vehicles on the ice and a tractor trailer with chains was stuck on a shoulder unable to move due to the weather. The duration of the closure is not known. Update: At 6:15 a.m., lanes in both directions were open to vehicles with chains.
CHP warn that a small terrier was seen loose on the eastbound I-10 at Tippecanoe. The dog was last seen huddled on the side of the road.
