Sig Alert, Highway 60, Pomona 8:32 a.m.

|

A jackknifed semi truck spilled fuel onto Highway 60 this morning, prompting the closure of four eastbound lanes.
The 8:13 a.m. crash between a car and a big rig occurred at Phillips Ranch Road. The car overturned onto the right shoulder and the semi blocked several lanes. Before the truck driver could move the rig over to the shoulder, fuel spilled across four lanes. The duration of the closure was unknown, but as of about 9 a.m., Caltrans crews were on scene cleaning up the spill. Update: The CHP canceled the Sig Alert at 10:35 a.m. and all lanes were reopened.
