Sig alert, 91 Freeway, Corona, 4 p.m.

A crash involving about six vehicles has forced the closure of the eastbound 91 Freeway's carpool lane at McKinley Street.

Road closure, San Timoteo Canyon Road, Redlands 1:48 p.m.

A driver struck a telephone pole at the corner of San Timoteo Canyon Road at Redlands Boulevard just south of Redlands at 1:48 p.m. The impact sheared off the pole causing wires from six to eight poles to fall. The CHP anticipated a long term closure to repair the damage.

Traffic collision, I-15, Devore 12:42 p.m.

A white BMW and another vehicle collided on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Glen Helen Road. Both vehicles were along the center divider.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Pomona 9:32 a.m.

A two-car crash occurred on the westbound Highway 60 east of Garey Avenue, blocking the carpool lane.

Sig Alert, I-15, Norco 6:56 a.m.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert for a rollover crash on the northbound 15 near the Santa Ana River bridge. The vehicle was moved to the center divider by 7:25 a.m. and the Sig Alert cleared at 7:31 a.m.

Area overview - highways mostly clear 8:02 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting some slow traffic on the northbound 15 Freeway at Second Street and at Parkridge, but all other area freeways are clear.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Highland 10:55 a.m.

A Chrysler PT Cruiser collided with a tractor trailer on the eastbound 210 just west of Highway 330. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Vehicle over the side, Glendora Ridge Road, Mt. Baldy 11:05 a.m.

A driver plunged over the side of Glendora Ridge Road at Mt. Baldy Road. Paramedics flew the driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. A team was preparing to climb down into the canyon to locate the vehicle.

Area overview - heavy traffic in Chino Hills, Corona 6:41 a.m.

Commuter traffic is backed up on the westbound Highway 91 between McKinley and Maple. There's also some slow traffic on the southbound Highway 71 at Euclid Avenue, according to Caltrans.

Lane closure, I-215, San Bernardino 9:35 a.m.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert at 10:26 a.m. for the slow lane of the southbound 215 at Auto Plaza Drive regarding a brush fire. The blaze was reported about 9:30 a.m. in a wash area off the side of the freeway. The Sig Alert was expected to last a half hour to 45 minutes.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Diamond Bar 8:01 a.m.

A three-car crash occurred on the westbound Highway 60 at Diamond Bar Boulevard. Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were responding to the crash. One of the motorists involved in the crash was a woman who is six months' pregnant.

Traffic hazard, Highway 71, Chino Hills 7:46 a.m.

The CHP received a report of blocks of cement in the carpool lane on the northbound 71 at Grand Avenue.

Caltrans is reporting heavy traffic on the westbound 210 Freeway at Archibald Avenue, the northbound 15 at Philadelphia Street in Ontario and at 2nd Street in Norco. The east- and westbound Highway 91 through Corona is also heavy with commuter traffic.

Traffic collision, I-215, San Bernardino, 5:58 p.m.

A crash between a black Ford Expedition and red Plymouth Neon was blocking lanes of traffic on the Second Street onramp to the I-215.

Traffic hazard, I-10, Pomona, 4:30 p.m.

Orange cones have been spotted in the No. 2 and 3 lanes of the westbound I-10 east of Grand Ave.

Traffic Hazard, 57 Freeway, San Dimas, 4:30 p.m.

Unknown type of debris was reported in the No. 1 and 2 lanes.

Area overview - Heavy traffic on 91 Freeway in Riverside County

Caltrans is reporting heavy traffic along the eastbound 91 starting in Corona at Serfas Club Drive to about McKinley Street in Norco. Small patches of heavy traffic have begun in other areas.

Traffic hazard, I-210, Rancho Cucamonga 7:40 a.m.

A motorist in a green Honday broke down on the westbound 210 Freeway at Archibald Avenue, blocking two lanes of traffic.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Ontario 7 a.m.

A crash involving three vehicles is blocking the carpool and fast lanes on the westbound 60 at Haven Avenue. The CHP said a gray Impala, a gray Ford sedan and a white Dodge pickup truck collided. At least one ambulance was responding to the crash.

Area overview - Heavy traffic on I-10, I-215 and 91 Freeways

Heavy traffic is being reported on the eastbound I-10 near Fiarplex Drive in Pomona down to Benson Ave in Upland. Traffic is also tied up on the westbound starting ar Haven Ave.

Heavy traffic is being reported on the southbound and northbound 215 at Orange Show Road in San Bernardino.

Traffic is congested along the eastbound 91 Freeway in Corona at the Riverside County/Orange County boundary.

Traffic collision, Mariposa Ave, Riverside, 5:34 p.m.

A traffic collision has been reported on Mariposa Ave at Porter Ave. involving an injured motorcyclist who was reportedly bleeding from the moutn.

Debris, I-10, Fontana, 9:13 a.m.

Traffic hazard in the eastbound 10 just west of Citrus Avenue, the CHP reported. Metal debris in in the No. 2 lane.

Traffic collision, I-215, Colton 11:48 a.m.

A two-car crash blocked the two left lanes on the southbound 215 Freeway south of the westbound 10. The California Highway Patrol said a white sport-utility vehicle struck the center divider, spun out and hit a white pickup truck. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Sig Alert, I-210, La Verne 9:53 a.m.

A tractor trailer overturned, spilling several thousand pounds of dirt on the Foothill Boulevard on-ramp to the westbound 210 Freeway. A Sig Alert was issued at 10:12 a.m. The road was expected to be cleared shortly after 1 p.m.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Diamond Bar 6:08 a.m.

A crash involving as many as six vehicles occurred on the eastbound 60 at Grand Avenue, blocking the carpool lane, the CHP said. Los Angeles County firefighters came to the scene for the injury crash. The road was cleared at 6:22 a.m.

Sig Alert, I-15, Cajon Pass 4:46 a.m.

A truck pulling a trailer collided with two other vehicles and overturned on the southbound 15 south of Oak Hill Road, blocking three lanes. The CHP reopened two lanes at 5:24 a.m., but the slow lane and right shoulder remained closed. The Sig Alert was expected to remain in effect until at least 7 a.m. The crash backed up several miles to at least Bear Valley Road in Victorville.

Rollover crash, I-215, San Bernardino 9:36 a.m.

A sedan overturned at the center divider on the southbound 215 at Mill Street. An ambulance is responding.

Construction closure, Highway 60, Ontario 9:13 a.m.

The slow lane on the westbound 60 at Archibald Avenue will be closed until 1 p.m. for repair work.

Traffic jam, I-215, San Bernardino 8 a.m.

Northbound traffic on the 215 Freeway is backed up from University Parkway to the 210 Freeway because it is the first day of fall quarter at Cal State University San Bernardino.

Report of fire, Highway 138, Pinon Hills 8:15 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a transormer explosion that ignited a small brush fire off Highway 138 at Beekley Road.

Area overview - backups in San Bernardino, Corona and Ontario, 5:30 p.m.

Traffic congestion is being reported in both directions of the I-15 in the area of Jurupa Ave. and Philadelphia Street. Heavy traffic is also being reported in Corona on the eastbound 91 Freeway at Serfas Club Drive and around Vineyard Ave. on the westbound I-10 and Archibald Ave. on the eastbound I-10. There is more congestion in San Bernardino on the northbound I-215 at Orange Show Road.

Caltrans is reporting there is slow traffic on the southbound 215 Freeway north of the 10 Freeway. There's also some crawling traffic on the eastbound Highway 91 between Jackson and Arlington.

Sig Alert, I-215, San Bernardino 5:03 a.m.

A van overturned on the southbound 215 Freeway north of 3rd Street, blocking the two left lanes. The CHP issued a Sig Alert, which lasted until 6:23 a.m. when the crash was cleared.

Traffic collision, I-15, Rancho Cucamonga 4:54 a.m.

A three-car crash snarled traffic on the southbound 15 at Foothill Boulevard. Vehicles, including a carpool van with six passengers, blocked several lanes of traffic. An ambulance responded.

Traffic rollover, I-215, Devore 1:39 p.m.

A tan vehicle flipped onto its roof, stopping along the center divider on the southbound 215 north of Devore Road. The CHP received reports of people trapped inside the vehicle.

Traffic hazard, Highway 60, Pomona 1:19 p.m.

The CHP received a report of shattered glass in the slow lane of the westbound Highway 60 near Grand Avenue and requested cleanup from Caltrans.

Traffic collision, Highway 38, Sugarloaf 8:06 a.m.

A two-car crash occurred on Highway 38 at Sites Way at 8:06 a.m. The vehicles were blocking lanes and an ambulance responded to the crash.

Traffic collision, I-210, Rancho Cucamonga 6:58 a.m.

A three-car crash occurred on the eastbound 210 west of Milliken Avenue, injuring at least one person. It was not immediately known which lanes were blocked.

Sig Alert, I-10, Fontana 11:36 a.m.

A vehicle spilled a load of lumber on the Sierra Avenue on-ramp to the westbound 10 Freeway. The CHP said the clean up would take until at least 2 p.m.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, San Dimas 1:28 p.m.

A collision between a big rig and a sedan occurred on the westbound 60 near the northbound Highway 57.

Fatal crash, I-40, Ludlow 7:19 a.m.

A car rolled into the center divider on the eastbound 40 Freeway, killing an occupant of the vehicle. The San Bernardino County Coroner's Department is heading to the crash scene.

Hit and run crash, Highway 60, Glen Avon 5:45 a.m.

A motorcyclist was struck by a hit-and-run driver on the westbound 60 west of Pedley Road and landed in the fast lane. The driver who didn't stop for the crash was in a Honda Civic. The motorcycle rider suffered minor injuries.

Caltrans says there's some traffic delays on the westbound 210 Freeway a Day Creek Boulevard, the northbound Highway 71 at Euclid Avenue, the northbound 15 Freeway at Fourth Street in Norco, the westbound Highway 91 at Grand and the eastbound 91 at Adams.

A tub fell onto the westbound 10 Freeway at Dudley Street and is blocking the two left lanes.

Sig alert, Highway 91, Colton 12:01 p.m.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert on the eastbound Highway 91 near the 215 Freeway interchange after a semi truck overturned and began leaking fuel. The three right lanes will be closed until at least 12:30 p.m.

Traffic collision, Highway 57, Pomona 7:59 a.m.

A white Lexus and a gray Toyota collided on the southbound 57 at Temple Avenue and stopped against the center divider, the CHP said. CHP officers were requesting to temporarily stop traffic to move the vehicles. There were no injuries in the crash.

A fuel spill occurred on the westbound Highway 30 at Arden Avenue. The tractor trailer leaking the fuel is on the right shoulder.

Traffic collision, I-10, Bloomington 9:18 a.m.

A sedan struck the center divider of the eastbound 10 Freeway at Cedar Avenue and skidded across the freeway, the CHP reported. One witness said the vehicle rolled several times. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Traffic collision, Highway 38, Redlands 7:50 a.m.

An off-duty police officer involved in a crash on Highway 38 at Garnet Street. An ambulance responded to the crash but there were no injuries.

Traffic on the westbound 210 Freeway at Carnelian Avenue is moving slowly, according to Caltrans, but area highways are otherwise clear of major delays.

Traffic collision, I-215, San Bernardino 12:09 p.m.

A three-car crash occurred on the Auto Plaza Drive off-ramp off the southbound 215. The crash blocked the off-ramp about 10 minutes until the vehicles could be moved.

Vehicle rollover, I-15, Cajon Pass 10:25 a.m.

A gold sedan traveled up an embankment, flipped several times and landed on its roof in the fast lane. An ambulance responded to the crash.

A motorcyclist was killed on the westbound 60 east of Mills Avenue in a collision with a Ford F-150 pickup. The CHP closed the carpool lane and issued a Sig Alert at 5:43 a.m. for an hour.

Sig alert, I-215, Riverside, 10 p.m.

A 14-vehicle crash that involved one rollover has forced the closure of the northbound I-215 at Canyon Crest Drive. Traffic was being diverted into the city at El Cerrito Drive and CHP officers were working on a detour as of late Wednesday. Three people had to be extricated. Several ambulances had responded.

A car fire is blocking lanes on the eastbound I-10 east of Live Oak Canyon Road. Flames had spread to surrounding brush. Fire engines were blocking lanes of traffic.

Area overview - Slowing on 91 Freeway and I-15 in Riverside County

Caltrans reports heavy traffic on the soutbound I-15 from the borders of Ontario into Corona. Heavy and congested traffic is being reported on the eastbound 91 Freeway heading into Corona from Orange County and along the westbound 91 in Riverside in the area of 14th Street.

Traffic was reported to be back up on the southbound I-15 from just north of the eastbound I-10. A listed was not immediately reported by the CHP.

Overturned vehicle, Highway 60, Diamond Bar 1:41 p.m.

A pickup truck overturned on the westbound 60 east of Diamond Bar Boulevard, landing on the right shoulder. An ambulance is responding.

Sig Alert, I-15, Eastvale 12:03 p.m.

The CHP closed the two left lanes on the southbound 15 Freeway at Limonite Avenue due to a two-car crash. The duration of the closure was unknown.

Traffic collision, I-210, Rialto 9:01 a.m.

A vehicle crashed into the center divider on the westbound 210 at Riverside Avenue. One person suffered minor injuries.

Traffic is moving slowly on the westbound 210 at Day Creek Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga, the northbound 15 Freeway at Second Street in Norco and the westbound Highway 91 at Main Street. There's also some traffic congestion on the eastbound 91 at Madison.

Sig Alert, I-210, Rialto 6:23 a.m.

A box truck overturned on the eastbound 210 Freeway east of Riverside Avenue, blocking the carpool and fast lanes at 5:57 a.m. The driver was not injured, but a heavy-duty tow truck was needed to upright the truck. The Sig Alert was expected to last up to an hour. Update: The freeway was reopened at 10:10 a.m.

Road closure, Highway 18, Fawnskin

Due to the Butler Fire, Highway 18 between Snow Valley ski resort in Running Springs to the Big Bear Dam will be closed until 7 p.m. Commuters must use Highway 38 or Highway 18 through Lucerne Valley.
