Sig Alert, I-15, Mountain Pass 6:44 a.m.

|

A tractor trailer overturned and spilled 200 gallons of oil on the 15 Freeway, resulting in a Sig Alert.
The driver lost control while heading north on the 15 at Kingston Road, about 20 miles west of the Nevada state line. The semi overturned, blocking all lanes, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers issued a Sig Alert, diverting traffic off the freeway at Cima Road, toward Morning Star Mine Road, Ivanpah Road and then Nipton Road, back to the 15. The duration of the closure was not known.
