Sig Alert, Highway 57, Pomona 1:59 p.m.

Caltrans has closed the transition road from the southbound Highway 57 to the 10 Freeway to repair sand barrels. The closure is scheduled to last about two hours.

Area overview - congestion in Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Corona, Riverside 7:33 a.m.

The southbound 15 Freeway at Foothill Boulevard and Base Line Road in Rancho Cucamonga is congested due to a traffic collision. The northbound 15 Freeway at Philadelphia Street is also moving slowly, as is the westbound Highway 91 at Main Street in Corona and the eastbound 91 at Arlington Avenue.

A crash involving a gold Kia and a black Mazda occurred on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Foothill Boulevard and is blocking one lane.

Vehicle rollover, I-210, San Bernardino 6:32 a.m.

A motorist overturned a vehicle onto the right shoulder near the bushes of the westbound 210 Freeway east of H Street. The CHP received a report of a Good Samaritan who stopped to help and was looking inside the vehicle. Paramedics are responding to the crash.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Riverside, 5:48 p.m.

A multi-vehicle crash is blocking lanes on the westbound 60 Freeway west of Main Street.

Area Overview - heavy traffic in Ontario, San Bernardino and Corona 5:15 p.m.

CHP reports heavy traffic on the eastbound I-10 in the area of Archibald Ave. in Ontarioo and on the westbound in the area of Vineyard Ave.

There is heavy traffic on the northbound I-15 in Ontario near the I-10 transition at Airport Drive. Traffic rep[ortedly clears until you reach Jurupa Ave.

The eastbond 91 Freeway has heavy traffic from starting in the area of Highway 71 and conitnues heavy on and off until just past the I-15 connection in Corona.

On the I-215, there is a cluster of slowing on the northbound lanes starting in the area of Orange Show Drive in San Bernardino and continuing until just past Fourth Street.

Traffic collision, Redwood Ave., Fontana, 4:53 p.m.

Redwood Ave. at San Bernardino Ave. was flooded after a vehicle hit a fire hydrant. Water district officials are being called.

Lane closure, I-215, San Bernardino 10:31 a.m.

Two lanes have been closed on the northbound 215 Freeway north of Mt. Vernon Avenue for a crash investigation. By about 11:30 a.m., traffic had backed up to the 10 Freeway, according to the CHP.

Fatal crash, I-210, Claremont 10:27 a.m.

A crash involving a tractor trailer and another vehicle occurred on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of Base Line Road. One person was killed. The CHP shut down the slow lane for an unknown duration.

Fatal crash, East End Road, Lucerne Valley 9:44 a.m.

One person was killed in a rollover crash on East End Road at the intersection of Santa Fe Road.

Animal on road, I-210, Claremont 8:23 a.m.

A German shepherd was walking in the carpool lane of the eastbound 210 Freeway east of Fruit Street, causing motorists to swerve to avoid it. As of 9:26 a.m., officers remained on scene and the dog had wandered to the right shoulder of the freeway. Officers are waiting for animal control officers to respond to the scene to capture the dog.

Sig Alert, I-15, Devore 7:43 a.m.

A car flipped on its side on the northbound 15 Freeway transition road to the southbound 215, throwing out an occupant of the car. One person was killed in the crash. The transition road and the southbound 215 Freeway Devore off-ramp are both closed. The duration of the Sig Alert was not known. Traffic is backed up in both directions.

Area overview - backups in Riverside, Chino Hills 7:32 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting slow traffic on the eastbound Highway 60 at Market Street and eastbound Highway 91 at Arlington, both in Riverside. Traffic on the southbound Highway 71 is also moving slowly at Euclid Avenue through Chino Hills.

Rollover traffic collision, Highway 330, Fredalba 6:33 a.m.

A motorist in a black Honda Civic rolled the vehicle on Highway 330 south of Fredalba Road. The vehicle is blocking southbound lanes and the driver was knocked unconscious, the CHP said.

Traffic hazard, I-210, Duarte, 3:43 p.m.

A sig alert was issued at 3:43 p.m. for the westbound I-210 and was expected to last about 30 minutes while CHP officers and the driver of a big rig dealt with the a load in back of the rig that shifted. The rig was being emptied.

Traffic collision, I-215, San Bernardino 8:37 a.m.

Two lanes were blocked following a crash on the northbound 215 Freeway at Fifth Street. The California Highway Patrol received reports of a pedestrian who was struck. Lanes were cleared by 10:23 a.m.

Area overview - traffic congestion in Ontario, Corona 7:11 a.m.

Traffic on the northbound 15 Freeway at Philadelphia Street in Ontario is moving slowly, according to Caltrans. The westbound Highway 91 is also crawling at Lincoln and Green River through Corona.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Ontario 5:12 a.m.

A gray Mitsubishi and a red minivan collided on the eastbound Highway 60 east of Haven Avenue. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Area overview - heavy traffic reported in Corona, Pomona and San Bernardino, 4:45 p.m.

Heavy traffic on the eastbound I-10 starting at Dudley Ave. in Pomona. More slowing is being reported on the eastbound 91 Freeway in Corona starting at W. Serfas Club Drive to about McKinley Ave. The area around the 91 Freeway connector to the I-15 has a slowing on both freeways in both directions. Slowing in San Bernardino is reported on the southbound I-215 in the area of Orange Show Drive.

Traffic hazard, I-15, Corona, 4:27 p.m.

A person was seen walking on the right-hand shoulder of the I-15 southbound lanes, at Yuma Drive. Wtinesses told CHP they did not see a vehicle. The individual was also seen in the center divider according to some witnesses.

Traffic hazard, I-10, Colton 4:14 p.m.

Motorists were being warned that sprinklers were spraying onto eastbound I-10 lanes north of Rancho Ave.

Sig alert, Cajalco Road, Perris, 4 p.m.

A sig alert issued following a crash involving a big rig is expected to continue through 6 p.m. CHP reports that the big rig collided with a compact car east of La Sierra Road. The rig then burst into flames. The road was closed at Lake Mathews Drive on the westbound Cajalco Road.

Hit and run, I-10, Claremont 1:41 p.m.

A motorist in a black Honda Civic was struck by another car on the westbound 10 Freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard. The vehicle stopped along the center divider, facing the wrong direction. There were no reported injuries in the crash.

Traffic collision, I-10, Pomona 12:02 p.m.

A tractor trailer and a small compact car collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Towne Avenue. The vehicles moved over to the right shoulder and there were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, I-10, Colton 12:13 p.m.

A three-car crash occurred on the eastbound 10 Freeway near the southbound 215 Freeway. The CHP said the vehicles involved were a red Dodge sedan, a gray Toyota Corolla and a tow truck that was pulling a mail truck. Paramedics responded to the crash.

Traffic collision, I-15, Hesperia 5:52 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol received a report of a vehicle that landed in a ditch on the right shoulder of the northbound 15 Freeway north of Main Street. Paramedics have responded to the crash.

Traffic collision, I-10, Pomona, 6 p.m.

A three vehicle crash blocked the No. 4 lanes on the I-10 east of Holt Ave.

Traffic collision, Highway 243, Banning, 5 p.m.

Tow trucks had begun clearing the scene of a head-on crash on Highway 243 north of Twin Pines Road. A pick up truck collided head-on with another vehicle. Several people, including a baby, reportedly had head injuries. The driver of the truck had been trapped. A air ambulance landed forcing the closure of the road.

Traffic collision, Luna Road, Pinion Hills, 4 p.m.

A vehicle struck a power pole on Luna Road west of Oasis Road. The driver reportedly ran from the scene on foot leaving the vehicle behind.

Traffic collision, I-10, Fontana 6:58 a.m.

A crash involving a sliver Buick, a red GMC Suburban and a third vehicle occurred on the Citrus Avenue off-ramp from the westbound 10 Freeway. One lane is blocked.

Area overview - congestion through Corona, otherwise clear 7:19 a.m.

Most area highways - I-15, I-215, Highway 60, I-210, and I-10 - are clear of any major traffic congestion, according to Caltrans. The westbound Highway 91 is backed up at Main Street in Corona.

Traffic advisory, I-15, Baker, 4:15 p.m.

Heavy traffic is being reported on the southbound I-15 at E. Baker Blvd. CHP reports that motorists trying to exit are dodging other vehicles that ar passing on the right shoulder. CHP also reports that big rigs are being cut off.

Traffic collision, I-15, Hesperia, 3:16 p.m.

A vehicle has reportedly rolled over on the nortbhound I-15 south of Highway 395. Two people are reportedly pinned inside. An ambulance has responded.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Twin Peaks, 3:08 p.m.

A crash is blocking the northbound lanes of Highway 18 east of Lake Gregory Drive. Two vehicles are reportedly involved.

Area Overview - Slowing in Diamond Bar and Pomona, 3 p.m.

There is slowing on the northbound 57 Freeway at Diamond Bar Ave. and eastbound I-10 at Dudley Ave. The I-10 east in west covina is very slow, starting at Hollenbeck Ave. and around the Azusa area along the eastbound 60 starting at Hacienda.

Area overview - heavy traffic reported on most highways, 2:45 p.m.

Holiday traffic has begun and is causing slowing in areas of all highways. The biggest cluster of slowing is reported is on the northbound I-15 at the I-210 connector heading through Glen Helen and Devore but appears to loosen approaching the Cajon Pass. More slowing is reported on both side of the I-15 near the I-10 and 60 Freeway connectors in Ontario.

On the I-10, heavy traffic is reported on the eastbound direction starting near Fourth Street and Vineyard Ave. in Ontario. It start to east past the I-15, according to Caltrans reports. There is a patch of slowing near the I-215 interchange in Colton. The I-215 north has a patch of slowing Orange Show Drive in San Bernardino.

The 60 Freeway appears to be mostly clear except for patches of slowing on eastbound lanes Haven Ave. in Ontario and then again at Pacific Ave. in Norco. Slowing then starts again on the eastbound lanes as traffic reaches Rubidoux and the 91 Freeway.

The 91 Freeway is jammed. The eastbound is the heaviest. Traffic starts at the Orange/Riverside county line and is stop and go to Lincoln Ave. where it eases again until you hit Jackson St. Caltrans reports it remains heavy into Market St.

Traffic collision, I-10, San Bernardino, 2:20 p.m.

A crash between car and a pick up had been mostly cleared from the No. 1 and 2 lanes of the westbound I-10 east of N. Rancho Ave.

Sig alert, westbound I-10, Ontario, 2:15 p.m.

A sig alert has been issued following a collision on the westbound at N. Archibald Ave. An ambulance is responding and CHP is reporting that lanes are blocked but had not disclosed which ones.

Traffic collision, I-10, Upland 1:20 p.m.

A driver in a gold sedan spun out and struck the center divider on the westbound 10 Freeway at Euclid Avenue. A witness said it appeared the driver was injured and an ambulance responded to the scene.

Traffic collision, I-10, San Bernardino 10:31 a.m.

A crash occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway near Tippecanoe Avenue, blocking two lanes.

Lane closure, Highway 60, Glen Avon 7:22 a.m.

The Pedley Road off-ramp off eastbound Highway 60 will be closed until about noon for paving, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Pomona 6:21 a.m.

A two-car crash occurred on the westbound Highway 60 at Grand Avenue. The California Highway Patrol received initial reports that vehicles were blocking the slow lane. The cars were moved to the right shoulder by 7 a.m.

Area overview - highways mostly clear 7:24 a.m.

Caltrans reported that there is some congestion on the westbound Highway 91 at Maple Avenue through Corona, but all other freeways - I-10, I-215, I-210, Highway 60 and I-15 - are flowing smoothly.

Area overview - congestion in Ontario, Chino Hills, Corona 7:21 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting that traffic is crawling on the northbound 15 at Philadelphia Street and the westbound Highway 60 at Milliken and Vineyard Avenue, all in Ontario. Traffic on the north and southbound Highway 71 is moving slowly at Euclid Avenue in Chino Hills, along with the westbound Highway 91 at McKinley Avenue in Corona.

Area overview - Slowing in Pomona, Corona and Ontario

Traffic has become heavy in a number of cities. In Pomona, Caltrans is reporting slowing on the eastbound I-10 near Dudley Ave. More slowing is being reported on the eastbound 60 Freeway at Garey Ave. In Montclair, there is slowing on the westbound I-10 at Monte Vista Ave. And in Ontario, slowing is being reported on the westbound I-10 near Archibald Ave.On the eastbound 91 Freeway at the Riverside/Orange county line there is congestion until about Green River Drive. On the southbound I-15 in Corona, there is slowing starting near Old Temescal Canyon.

Traffic collision, Sheep Creek Road, Phelan, 4 p.m.

A child has been struck by a vehicle at Sheep Creek Road at Nielson Road. An ambulance is responding.

Traffic hazard, I-10, Colton, 3:06 p.m.

A truck stopped on the eastbound I-10, west of Mount Vernon is reportedly stalled on the shoulder but is still sticking out at least six inches into speeding traffic, according to CHP reports.

Traffic collision, Highway 74, Idyllwild, 2:37 p.m.

Someone has been reportedly ejected from a vehicle that ran off the road on Highway 74 west of Morris Ranch Road. Tow trucks have been called.

Traffic collision, I-215, Riverside, Eucalyptus Ave., 3:49 p.m.

CHP is reporting that an SUV has overturned and is lying on its' top in the No. 1 lane of the southbound I-215 south of Eucalyptus Ave. A second vehicle and a big rig that may be involved were stopped a quarter of a mile ahead of the collision.

A crash involving several vehicles is blocking the No. 3 and 4 lanes on the westbound I-10 at California St.

Traffic collision, I-10, Fontana 7:35 a.m.

A car crashed into the center divider on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Etiwanda Avenue and stopped facing the wrong direction, the CHP said. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Sig Alert, I-10, Montclair 11:55 a.m.

A semi truck jackknifed on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Monte Vista Avenue, blocking several lanes. The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert until just after noon when they were able to move the big rig over to the shoulder, but some residual traffic remained in the area.

Fatal crash, I-40, Newberry Springs 6:03 a.m.

The CHP received a report of two people pinned inside a vehicle that plunged 60 to 70 feet down an embankment on the westbound 40 east of A Street. The coroner's department responded to the scene, but it was unclear if more than one person was killed.

Traffic advisory, I-15, Yermo 1:33 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol issued a traffic advisory at 1:33 p.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway near Coyote Lake Road, east of Yermo. Officers reported heavy traffic was moving through the area.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Glen Avon 8:57 a.m.

A crash occurred on the westbound Highway 60 at Pedley Road, causing a mobile home to tip over, the CHP said. The crash is by the center divider and slightly blocking the fast lane.

Area overview - freeways clear 7:08 a.m.

All area highways - I-15, I-10, I-215, Highway 91 and 60 and I-210, are flowing smoothly.

Traffic collision, I-10, Claremont 5:16 a.m.

A three-car crash occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard, blocking three lanes. One of the vehicles overturned. The road was cleared at 6:09 a.m.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, San Bernardino 12:23 p.m.

A motorist in a black Honda Civic crashed on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of Waterman Avenue, spreading debris all over the freeway, the CHP said.

Traffic collision, I-10, Calimesa 9:05 a.m.

A semi truck struck a metal object on the westbound 10 at Brookside Avenue and began spilling diesel fuel in the road. The California Highway Patrol requested the rest area east of Brookside be closed.

Area overview - congestion in Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, Riverside 7:21 a.m.

The westbound 210 Freeway is congested at Archibald Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga, according to Caltrans. There's also some heavy commuter traffic on the westbound Highway 91 at Main Streeet and the eastbound 91 at Arlington Avenue.

Traffic collision, I-40, Ludlow 5:37 a.m.

A motorist in a Toyota pickup who was stopped in a lane on the westbound 40 Freeway was struck by a tractor trailer between Ludlow and Needles. Both vehicles were moved over to the right shoulder and an ambulance came to the scene.

Vehicle rollover, I-10, Beaumont 3:05 a.m.

A vehicle containing three people overturned and crashed into the center divider on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Highland Springs Avenue. One person received critical injuries and the other two suffered minor injuries.

Traffic collision, I-215, San Bernardino 12:57 p.m.

Three cars and a tractor trailer crashed on the northbound 215 Freeway just south of University Avenue, blocking the two left lanes. The California Highway Patrol said the big rig jackknifed.

Traffic collision, Highway 247, Lucerne Valley 12:42 a.m.

A driver swerved to avoid hitting a dog and rolled the vehicle on Highway 247 at Midway Avenue. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Sig Alert, I-215, Grand Terrace 11:19 a.m.

One lane of the southbound 215 Freeway is closed due to a crash on the Newport Avenue overpass, the CHP said. Officers said concrete was falling onto the freeway. The crash occurred at 10:54 a.m. The Sig Alert was expected to last until at least 2 p.m.

Traffic collision, I-10, San Bernardino 3 a.m.

A semi truck struck the guardrail on the westbound 10 at Waterman Avenue and began leaking fuel onto the freeway, the CHP said. The tractor trailer spilled about two gallons of fuel.

A crash between a mini-van and a green Lexis is blocking the California St. offramp on the I-10 eastbound lanes.

Area overview - Slowing in Corona and Ontario

The construction caused slowing in Corona along the eastbound 91 starts in the area of Green River Road. There is slowing on the northbound I-15 in Ontario near the Riverside county line.

Vehicle rollover, I-10, Rancho Cucamonga 12:48 p.m.

A motorist flipped a vehicle on the eastbound 10 at Haven Avenue and was tossed from the car, the CHP said. Officers received reports that the driver was trapped underneath the vehicle. An ambulance responded to the crash.

Traffic collision, I-215, Devore 7:36 a.m.

A four-car crash occurred on the southbound 215 Freeway at Palm Avenue, according to the CHP. Officers said the crash involved a Pontiac Grand Am, a gray Toyota, a white Ford pickup and a Dodge pickup. One person suffered a gash to his forehead. The fast lane is blocked and an ambulance is responding.

Traffic collision, I-15, Devore 5:35 a.m.

A two-car crash is blocking the two right lanes on the southbound 15 Freeway at the 215 Freeway interchange. The crash, involving a white truck and a black sedan, resulted in minor injuries.

Traffic collision, Highway 395, Silver Lakes 3:42 a.m.

A tractor trailer hauling newspapers and fliers overturned on the northbound Highway 395 at Shadow Mountain Road west of the community of Silver Lakes. The semi was blocking several lanes.

Traffic collision, I-210, Rancho Cucamonga, 4:06 p.m.

A crash between a pickup and sedan was blocking traffic on the I-210 No. 5 lane. west of Millikan Ave. Traffic was briefly forced to stop.

Sig alert, I-215, Riverside, 3:46 p.m.

A Sig alert has been issued because of a 32,000 pound big rig which was reportedly block the No. 4 lanes on the southbound I-215 near the 91 Freeway transition. A tow truck had been requested.

Area overview - slowing starting in Corona and Ontario/Chino

The usual slowing has begun on the eastbound 91 Freeway at Green River Drive in Corona near the Orange County border where there has been ongoing construction. There is more congestion on the southbound I-15 starting at Ontario Ave. where it approached the transition with the 91 in the city. There is reported slowing on and off in Chino in the area of Riverside Ave. on the southbound I-15 and patches of slowing on the northbound I-15 near Philadelphia Ave. in south Ontario.

Debris, I-10, Ontario, 3:37 p.m.

A bedliner is blocking the No. 1 lanes on the eastvound 10 Freeway north of Vineyard Ave.

Traffic collision, Bon View and Walnut, Ontario 3:13 p.m.

A school bus and a car have collided in the area of South Bon View Ave. and E. Walnut St. No injuries had been reported by 3:15 p.m.

Jackknifed big rig, Highway 60, Ontario 12:35 p.m.

A semi truck and box truck collided on the eastbound 60 at Grove Avenue, blocking one lane. One of the trucks struck the guard rail. The CHP issued a traffic advisory.

Two big rigs collided on the westbound 60 at Archibald Avenue, blocking three lanes. One of the tractor trailers jackknifed and the CHP received a report of a fuel leak. Officers issued a traffic advisory.

Caltrans is reporting slow traffic on the westbound 210 Freeway at Archibald Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga, the westbound Highway 60 at Euclid Avenue in Ontario and the eastbound Highway 91 at Van Buren in Riverside.

Sig Alert, I-215, Grand Terrace 5:08 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol shut down part of the 215 Freeway this morning after a driver overturned a vehicle and became pinned under the steering wheel. A Sig Alert was issued at 5:08 a.m. and officers closed two lanes of the southbound 215 at the Newport Avenue overcrossing, said CHP Officer Albert Graciano. It was unknown how long the closure would last. The driver's Chevy flipped onto its roof at 4:34 a.m., trapping the driver in the vehicle, Graciano said. The CHP received reports that one of the driver's hands was severed in the crash. The Sig Alert was canceled at 6:33 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting traffic congestion on the southbound Highway 71 at Euclid Avenue and the westbound Highway 91 at Grand Avenue. All other area highways - the 10, 210, 215 and 15 freeways and Highway 60 - are clear.

Traffic collision, I-210, Rancho Cucamonga 12:42 p.m.

Fifty yards of metal tubing and various debris are blocking lanes on the eastbound 210 Freeway just west of Haven Avenue due to a car crash. An ambulance is responding to the crash.

The CHP is reporting slow traffic on the westbound 210 at Archibald Avenue, the northbound Highway 71 at Eucld Avenue and the westbound Highway 91 between McKinley and Serfas Club Drive. All other area highways are flowing smoothly.

Sig Alert, I-210, Pomona 5:29 a.m.

An Upland police chase ended in a crash on the westbound 210 Freeway at Towne Avenue, blocking the two right lanes. Traffic is backed up for more than nine miles into Rancho Cucamonga. The duration of the Sig Alert is not known.
