Debris in the lanes on Interstate 10, just west of Archibald Avenue, is being hit by vehicles at 8:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Collision on Interstate 15 at Cajalco Road, 8:15 a.m.

A vehicle with a horse trailer struck the center divider and jacknifed on southbound Interstate 15, just north of Cajalco Road, at 8:15 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Dogs reported on Grove Avenue onramp at 60 Freeway, 7:35 a.m.

A medium white dog and a large black dog were reported on the Grove Avenue onramp to the eastbound 60 Freeway at 7:35 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Collision on westbound 210 Freeway at Ayala Drive, 7:12 a.m.

A red Nissan car and a gold minivan reportedly crashed on the westbound 210 Freeway, just east of Ayala Drive, at 7:12 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicles are blocking the No. 1 lane.
CHP officers are enroute to the scene.

Collision on Waterman off-ramp, Interstate 10, 6:47 a.m.

A traffic collision was reported on the Waterman Avenue off-ramp on the eastbound Interstate 10, in San Bernardino, at 6:47 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
No injuries were reported, and officers were enroute to the scene.

Vehicle hit center divider on Interstate 10 at Whitewater, 6:12 a.m.

A vehicle reportedly spun across lanes of westbound Interstate 10 and struck the center divider near Whitewater, in the San Gorgonio Pass, at 6:12 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A pickup reportedly overturned and is blocking lanes on the southbound Interstate 215 freeway, just north of Interstate 10 in San Bernardino, at 10:02 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A black sports utility vehicle and a dark-colored sedan have collided and are blocking lanes on Highway 18 at Glory Ridge at 7:29 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A roll of carpet is reportedly in the No. 2 lane on the northbound Interstate 215, at Inland Center Drive, at 6:49 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A second roll of carpet was reported in the northbound lanes just north of Second Street at 6:50 a.m.

Collision on Interstate 215 at the 60 Freeway, 6:34 a.m.

Three vehicles are on the roadside after colliding on the northbound Interstate 215, just north of the 60 Freeway, at 6:34 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
No injuries were reported.

Collision on Interstate 215 at Canyon Crest, 6:31 a.m.

A four-vehicle collision reportedly has blocked the No. 1 lane on northbound Interstate 215 at Canyon Crest Drive, in Riverside, at 6:31 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Vehicle hit by tire on Interstate 15

A white Toyota Sequoia traveling southbound on Interstate 15, at Foothill Boulevard, was reportedly struck by a tire at 5:39 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Sequoia has front-end damage and is in the center divider awaiting a tow truck, according to the CHP.

Vehicle into embankment

A dark-colored sports utility vehicle reportedly collided into the right-hand side embankment on upbound Daley Canyon Road, just north of Highway 18, at 5:39 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
No other information was available.

Wind advisory in effect for Inland areas

Gusty winds are expected over much of the Inland Empire and mountain areas this morning, according to a wind advisory issued at 4:57 a.m. by the National Weather Service.
North to northeast winds are expected to reach 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts in excess of 50 miles per hour at times through and below canyons and passes. Winds will diminish later in the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 51 degrees today, dropping down to a low of 35 degree tonight.
Surface high pressure is building over Nevada this morning is bringing the locally gusty winds.
Winds this strong will make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles, according to the weather service. Motorists are advised to use caution.
The wind advisory will remain in effect until 2 p.m.

5:30 a.m. - Freeways clear

The California Highway Patrol is reporting no major incidents at this time on freeways in the San Bernardino valley, mountain and desert areas.
Caltrans is also reporting no major incidents affecting traffic in San Bernardino County.

Closure, Highway 14, Rosamond, 4:30 p.m.

The CHP has ordered the closure of Highway 14 from Avenue A in Rosamond to Highway 58 near the Mojave Air and Space Port due to high winds. There was not estimated time when the highway would re-open.

Traffic Collision, I-10, Banning, 3:32 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved in a crash on the westbound I-10 east of Highland Springs Ave. One vehicle had reported also struck a big rig.

Traffic collision, I-15, Barstow, 2:26 p.m.

A 6 to 7 car crash created traffic on the northbound I-15 south of Highway 58. The slow lanes is reportedly blocked.

Traffic collision, 91 Freeway, Riverside, 3:19 p.m.

A three vehicle crash had been blocking the fast lane of the eastbound 91 Freeway. About three vehicles were believed to be involved.

Motocycle Accident, 15 Freeway, San Bernardino, 8:52 a.m.

A motorcyclist crashed heading north just south of Highway 138. An ambulance is responding to help the rider, who received some assistance from other motorists. The bike is on the road side.

Traffic Collision, 215 Freeway, Riverside, 8:10 a.m.

An ambulance has responded to a two-car accident in the northbound lane just north of Central Avenue. Traffic is backed up in both directions.

A van has rolled over heading northbound just south of University Parkway. An ambulance is responding.

Two cars collided heading west at East Highland Avenue. Both vehicles are in the center divider.

1-15 No. 4 Lane to Re-open

CHP reports that the southbound No. 4 lane on the 15 Freeway south of the 210 Freeway should be reopening shortly. The lane had been closed from a big rig fire that began around 1:10 a.m. this morning. No one was injured. The vehicle has been moved to the side and will be removed later this morning.

A pit bull was seen wandering on the eastbound I-10 near the Garey Ave. offramp.

Traffic collision, I-40, Needles, 3:17 p.m.

A truck has rolled over and landed off the road on the westbound I-40 east of Mountain Springs Road. The motorist was seen getting out of the vehicle.

Traffic collision, I-15, Cajon Junction, 3:07 p.m.

A vehicle overturned and took out a traffic sign on the southbound I-15 at Highway 138. Three children were reportedly inside the car.

Traffic collision, Van Buren Blvd. Perris, 1:50 p.m.

A crash blocked eastbound lanes on Van Buren Blvd. at Whispering Spur Drive. A motorcyclist collided with a Lexus and was reported to be down on the road.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Glen Avon 11:27 a.m.

A car spun out on the westbound 60 west of Mission Boulevard and stopped on the right shoulder, facing the wrong direction. Paramedics came to the scene of the crash.

Traffic collision, I-210, San Bernardino 6:25 a.m.

A white Volkswagen Jetta and a Chevy Cobalt collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway east of the 215 Freeway, blocking two lanes. The CHP said one of the vehicles rolled onto its roof.

SigAlert, I-215 San Bernardino,. 1:24 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol announced a SigAlert on the northbound 215 Freeway near 2nd Street in San Bernardino, which is in the vicinity of the Carousel Mall.

A CHP dispatcher said the problem was caused by a truck bearing an oversized load that's stuck on the shoulder of the freeway. The truck's cargo is so big as to block traffic traveling in a nearby lane.

Around 1:40 p.m., the dispatcher said the truck has not caused a major backup.

Traffic hazard, I-15, Apple Valley 12:34 p.m.

The CHP received a report of large boulders in the right lane of the southbound 15 Freeway at Dale Evans Parkway.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Crestline 12:17 p.m.

A vehicle flipped on Highway 18 at Highway 138 south of Crestline. One person became trapped in the vehicle.

Traffic collision, I-10, Ontario 10:07 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a red Dodge Neon that slid under a semi on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Fourth Street. The crash blocked two lanes and an ambulance responded to the scene.

Cargo or hazardous material spill, I-15, Norco 8:43 a.m.

A tractor trailer spilled a large amount of an unknown liquid in the slow lane of the northbound 15 Freeway at the Santa Ana River bridge. The semi stopped on the right shoulder. Firefighters and the CHP were heading to the scene.

A black Mercedes has reportedly hit the center divider on the westbound I-210 west of the northbound I-15.

Traffic collision, I-215, Ontario, 3:42 p.m.

A gold Jeep Liberty is reportedly stalled in the slow lane of the northbound I-215 north of the I-10 transition.

Traffic collision, I-10, Pomona, 2:57 p.m.

A traffic collision had been blocking a portion of the North Dudley St. onramp on the eastbound I-10. The crash involved a government car.

Area overview - Rain and fog is afecting visibility in Highland and Barstow 3 p.m.

Sheriff's officials are reporting marginal visibility in parts of Highland. In Barstow on Highway 138 between Hess Rd and Beekley St. there is heavy fog and limited visibility reported.

Traffic collision, I-10, Redlands 1:57 p.m.

A black Ford pickup truck, a white Astrovan and a gold Chevy pickup collided on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Mountain View Avenue. All vehicles stopped on the right shoulder and there were no injuries.

Traffic collision, I-215, San Bernardino 12:49 p.m.

A crash between a white Jeep Cherokee and a green Ford sport-utility vehicle occurred on the northbound 215 Freeway south of Inland Center Drive. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder. There were no reported injuries.

Highway 18 reopened, San Bernardino, 8:44 a.m.

Highway 18 between Highway 138 in Crestline to 40th Street in San Bernardino was reopened at 8:44 a.m., following a 12-hour closure due to a fatal car crash.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, San Bernardino, 8:45 p.m.

A crash is blocking Highway 18 one mile north of 40th St. Not much information was avialable except that the road had been closed in the area.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Beaumont 8:42 a.m.

A driver on the westbound 60 west of the eastbound 10 Freeway lost control, swerved off the freeway into some trees, according to the CHP. Occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Traffic collision, I-210, Rancho Cucamonga 8:12 a.m.

A white Mercedes Benz and a blue Honda Prelude collided on the westbound 210 Freeway at Milliken Avenue, blocking the fast lane.

Area overview - highways clear 7:27 a.m.

Except for some moderate commuter traffic on the southbound 15 Freeway at Foothill and Base Line Road through Fontana, all area highways are clear of any backups.

Vehicle rollover, Highway 18, Big Bear Lake 7:04 a.m.

A driver flipped a vehicle on Highway 18 near Division Drive. Paramedics came to the scene to rescue the driver from the car. The vehicle was not blocking the road, according to the CHP.

Chain restrictions - Running Springs, Big Bear City

Chain restrictions are in place for Highway 18 from Heaps Peak Landfill in Running Springs to the Big Bear Dam; Highway 38 from Onyx Summit to Green Way Drive in Big Bear City and from Hatchery Drive in Sugar Loaf north to Mount Doble on Highway 18; and Highway 330 from Upper Passing Lane to Lower Passing Lane. All vehicles, except those with 4-wheel-drive must be equipped with chains, but 4-wheel-drive vehicles must have chains inside the vehicle, according to the CHP.

Traffic collision, I-605, Irwindale, 5:18 p.m.

A northbound big rig crash is causing traffic on the I-605 at San Gabriel River. The rig had gone over the center divider into southbound lanes and CHP estimated that 200 gallons of fuel had spilled on the roadway. A sig alert had been issued at 5:57 p.m.

Traffic hazard, I-215, Colton, 3:52 p.m.

A black dog was spotted walking onto the northbound I-215 at Barton Road.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Crestline, 2:34 p.m.

The efforts to rescue a person from a White Jeep Cherokee that overturned on Highway 18 is blocking southbound lanes. Heavy fog was being reported in the area.

Traffic collision, I-10, Claremont 8:48 a.m.

A crash involving three to four vehicles occurred on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Indian Hill Boulevard. A woman who was in one of the vehicles complained of head pain and was taken by Los Angeles County firefighters to a hospital for treatment. All vehicles were moved to the right shoulder by 8:56 a.m.

Traffic collision, Highway 57, Diamond Bar 6:30 a.m.

A tractor trailer and a vehicle collided on the southbound Highway 57 south of Sunset Crossing Road, blocking the slow lane. The vehicles blocked the lane about 15 minutes until they could be moved to the right shoulder. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic hazard, Highway 18, Rimforest 10:21 a.m.

The CHP received a report of styrofoam across all lanes of Highway 18 near Highway 173.

Traffic collision, I-10, Fontana 6:57 a.m.

A three car crash blocked the carpool and fast lanes on the eastbound 10 west of Etiwanda Avenue. The crash scattered debris in the slow lane, the CHP said.

Heavy traffic is on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Haven and Archibald Avenues through Ontario, the northbound 15 Freeway at 6th Street in Norco and Philadelphia Street in Ontario, and the westbound 10 at Etiwanda Avenue in Fontana.

Vehicle rollover, I-210, Upland 8:21 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a vehicle that rolled once or twice, trapping a man inside the car. The crash occurred on the westbound 210 Freeway west of Campus Avenue. One lane is blocked and paramedics are responding to the scene.

All major highways - I-15, I-10, I-215, I-210 and Highway 60 and 91 - are flowing smoothly.

Traffic advisory, I-15, Fontana 6:35 a.m.

Two cars collided on the southbound 15 south of Sierra Avenue, causing one vehicle to flip onto its roof. The overturned vehicle is by the center divider and the other is along the right shoulder. There are no injuries. The crash has caused traffic congestion. Update: The traffic advisory was canceled at 7:30 a.m., but some residual backup remains.

A Toyota has collided with a big rig on the westbound I-10 just north of the I-215 transition.

Traffic collision, Whittier St. , Riverside, 4 p.m.

A school bus has reportedly injured a dog on Whittier Street at Reche Canyon Road

Traffic collision, I-10, San Bernardino 1:05 p.m.

A Toyota Camry and a sedan collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Tippecanoe Avenue. The sedan stopped facing the wrong direction in a lane. At 1:19 p.m., three lanes were blocked, but all vehicles were moved to the center divider by 1:24 p.m, the CHP said.

Area overview - heavy traffic in Norco, Rubidoux, Riverside 7:52 a.m.

Traffic on the northbound 15 Freeway at 6th Street is moving slowly, according to Caltrans. The eastbound Highway 60 at Market Street and the eastbound Highway 91 at Arlington are also congested. All other area highways are flowing smoothly.

Traffic collision, Highway 57, Diamond Bar 5:37 a.m.

A big rig and a pickup truck collided on the southbound Highway 57 north of Highway 60. There are reports of injuries. The truck is blocking the fast lane and traffic is backed up about an eighth of a mile. The lane was expected to be blocked until about 7 a.m.

A silver Mitsubishi Lancer was hit by a runaway horse on Ridgeview Ave. at Limonite Ave. The frightened animal ran away, CHP officials said.

A tan jeep and a blue Nissan have collided and are blocking lanes on Highway 189 at Gregory Drive.

Traffic collision, Highway 71, Pomona 4:43 p.m.

A big rig's tire exploded, sending debris throughout lanes of the northbound Highway 71 transition to the westbound I-10. A chunk of the tire reportedly windshield of a Chevy Tahoe.

Traffic collision, 57 Freeway, San Dimas, 4:41 p.m.

A van and big rig have collided on the northbound 57 Freeway north of Via Verde.

Traffic hazard, I-15, Barstow, 4:32 p.m.

A woman in a green jacket was reported walking on the right shoulder of the northbound I-15 in an area not near an offramp.

Traffic collision, I-10, Bloomington, 4:23 p.m.

CHP were still trying to clear a crash that happened at 3:39 p.m. and blocked the slow lanes of the eastbound I-10 west of Cedar Ave. A two truck was making it's way to the scene.

Traffic collision, I-15, Rancho Cucamonga 1:40 p.m.

A Volkswagen bug lost control and rolled onto its roof on the northbound 15 Freeway at the interchange to the eastbound 210 Freeway. The vehicle was by the center divider.

Jackknifed big rig, Highway 57, Diamond Bar 11:45 a.m.

The carpool lane on the northbound 57 north of Pathfinder Road was blocked more than an hour after a semi truck jackknifed. The CHP issued a Sig alert, which last until 12:54 p.m. when the lane was cleared.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Jurupa 11:06 a.m.

A crash between a school bus and a black pickup truck occured on the westbound Highway 60 east of Hall Avenue and is blocking the carpool lane.

Traffic collision, I-10, Fontana 6:55 a.m.

A motorcycle rider lost control and crashed in the middle lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway west of Sierra Avenue. Paramedics are coming to the scene of the crash.

Area overview - congestion in chino Hills, Corona, Riverside, Rubidoux 7:26 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting that traffic is crawling on northbound Highway 71 at Euclid Avenue in Chino Hills, the westbound Highway 91 at Main Street and the eastbound 91 at McKinley, both in Corona; the eastbound 91 at Jefferson in Riverside and the eastbound Highway 60 at Market Street in Rubidoux.

Lane closure, I-10, San Gorgonio 5:56 a.m.

The Whitewater rest area off the westbound 10 Freeway east of Cabazon is closed due to flooding, the CHP said. The duration of the closure was not known.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Moreno Valley, 4:19 p.m.

A crash involving an SUV was blocking lanes on the westbound 60 Freeway west of Day St. Riverside County CDF was responding.

Traffic collision, I-10, Pomona, 3:17 p.m.

CHP officials are attempting to remove a white jeep that skidded out of control and knocked down a freeway entrance sign at Fairplex Drive at the entrance to the westbound I-10.

Traffic collision, Highway 95, Needles, 2:53 p.m.

A crash involving a big rig has caused the rig's load of PVC pipe to call and block both lanes of Highway 95. The rig is also on it's side.

Traffic collision, Highway 57, San Dimas 1:25 p.m.

A tractor trailer struck a blue vehicle, causing the car to hit the center divider on the northbound Highway 57 south of Via Verde. The tractor trailer was on the right shoulder.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Ontario 12:13 p.m.

A metal box struck a green Ford Focus on the eastbound Highway 60 east of Archibald Avenue after a cargo truck spilled some boxes onto the freeway. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder. There were no reported injuries in the crash.

Fuel spill, I-40, Daggett 11:02 a.m.

A big rig spilled about 25 gallons of fuel on the eastbound 40 Freeway between Daggett and Ludlow. Caltrans and fire personnel came to the scene to stop the leak.

Area overview - slow traffic in Norco, Corona 7:52 a.m.

Caltrans is reporting that traffic is moving slowly on the northbound 15 Freeway at Second Street and the westbound Highway 91 at Maple Street. All other highways are clear of major congestion.

Weather condition, I-15, Cajon Pass 7 a.m.

The CHP said some light snow is falling in the Cajon Pass, but the snow is not sticking to the road. There have been no serious car crashes as a result of the snow.

Area overview - heavy traffic in Ontario, Corona and San Bernardino

Traffic is heavy on the eastbound 60 Freeway in the area of Haven Ave. in Ontario. There is also slowing on the north and southbound lanes of the 15 near the 60 interchange.

Slowing also reported on the eastbound 91 at Green River Road. In San Bernardino, slowing is reported on the southbound I-215 at Orange Show Road.

Traffic collision, I-210, Rancho Cucamonga 2:01 p.m.

Two vehicles collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of the northbound 15 Freeway, causing one vehicle to overturn. The CHP said a camper shell had fallen into a lane and one of the drivers was injured.

Traffic collision, I-10, Montclair 1:53 p.m.

Three vehicles blocked a lane on the eastbound 10 at Central Avenue following a crash. The CHP said a driver in a white Suburban rear-ended a white van and a third driver had stopped in the middle of the carpool lane to chase a dog that was running on the freeway.

A vehicle is blocking the middle lanes and a tractor trailer is on the right shoulder following a crash on the westbound Highway 60 east of Reservoir Street.

Hit and run crash, Highway 60, Diamond Bar 6:45 a.m.

A two-car crash occured on the westbound 60 east of Diamond Bar Boulevard. The white Toyota sedan and red Nissan Titan were blocking the carpool lane for several minutes. Both vehicles were moved to the right shoulder at 6:53 a.m.

Traffic is moving slowly on the north and southbound Highway 71 at Euclid Avenue through Chino Hills, according to Caltrans. The eastbound Highway 91 is also congested at Arlington Avenue.

Chain restrictions, Highway 18 and 38, Big Bear Lake, Fawnskin

Most vehicles are required to have snow chains on Highway 18 from Pine Knot campground in Big Bear Lake to Smarts Ranch, and Highway 38 in Fawnskin from Navajo Street to Heart Bar Campground. Large tree blocking Highway 38

A large tree has toppled over onto Highway 38 in Angelus Oaks blocking the roadway Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Motorists are reporting the tree and lots of rocks in the roadway on Highway 38, at Glass Road, at 7:50 a.m., according to the highway patrol.

More rock slides on Highway 18

An area of Highway 18 in Crestline was closed for an unknown duration because of a rock slide caused by rain from an early morning storm, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers closed Highway 18, from Crestline Bridge to Lake Gregory Drive, at 7:48 a.m., the highway patrol reported.
Earlier in the morning, the CHP closed another section of Highway 18 at the Arctic Circle, between Big Bear Dam and Snow Valley, because of a rock slide.
No estimates were available about when either closure would re-open.

Fourth Street on-ramp reopened

The Fourth Street on-ramp to westbound Interstate 10 has been reopened, following an early morning collision involving an overturned semi tractor and trailer, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sigalert issued in the area has been cancelled.

Heavy fog in the Cajon Pass

Heavy fog was reported in the Cajon Pass early Friday morning with visibility at about 500 feet, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers on northbound Interstate 15, at the Kenwood Road, reported the heavy fog just after 7 a.m., according to the highway patrol.

Rock slide closes Highway 18

The Arctic Circle area of Highway 18, between Big Bear Dam and Snow Valley, is closed because of a rock slide created by an early morning rain storm, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers closed the area of the mountain highway about 3 a.m. and expect the closure to last through the remainder of the storm, the CHP reported.

Fourth Street on-ramp westbound closed

The Fourth Street on-ramp to the westbound Interstate 10 in Ontario will be closed until about 8 a.m. because of a collision that resulted in an overturned semi tractor and trailer, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Dispatchers received the call about the collision from another motorist about 2:17 a.m., according to the Highway Patrol.
Emergency personnel need to off-load the trailer before it can be fully uprighted and removed from the roadway. No injuries were reported.

Traffic collision, I-10, Ontario 1:06 p.m.

A tire flew off a tractor trailer, causing a crash on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Vineyard Avenue. A gold Nissan Altima and the big rig both stopped on the right shoulder and paramedics responded to the crash scene.
