Chain restrictions, Highway 18 and 38, Big Bear Lake, Fawnskin

|

Most vehicles are required to have snow chains on Highway 18 from Pine Knot campground in Big Bear Lake to Smarts Ranch, and Highway 38 in Fawnskin from Navajo Street to Heart Bar Campground. Vehicles that are 4X4 and pickup trucks weighing more than 6,000 pounds may drive without chains, but must have snow tires and chains inside the vehicle.
