More rock slides on Highway 18

|

An area of Highway 18 in Crestline was closed for an unknown duration because of a rock slide caused by rain from an early morning storm, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers closed Highway 18, from Crestline Bridge to Lake Gregory Drive, at 7:48 a.m., the highway patrol reported.
Earlier in the morning, the CHP closed another section of Highway 18 at the Arctic Circle, between Big Bear Dam and Snow Valley, because of a rock slide.
No estimates were available about when either closure would re-open.
