Rock slide closes Highway 18

|

The Arctic Circle area of Highway 18, between Big Bear Dam and Snow Valley, is closed because of a rock slide created by an early morning rain storm, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers closed the area of the mountain highway about 3 a.m. and expect the closure to last through the remainder of the storm, the CHP reported.
