Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Highland 12:22 p.m.

A vehicle struck the guard rail on the westbound 210 Freeway at Highway 330. The vehicle stopped along the center divider.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Redlands 7:53 a.m.

A two-car crash occurred on the westbound 210 Freeway west of San Bernardino Avenue, blocking two lanes. The crash involved a burgundy Toyota Tercel and a black sedan. At 8:12 a.m., only the fast lane was blocked.

Traffic advisory, 15 Freeway, Victorville 6:31 a.m.

The CHP issued a traffic advisory following a fatal four-car crash on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Highway 18. Three lanes are blocked. The Sig Alert was canceled at 8:42 a.m.

January 30, 2008

Wind avisory, I-15, Cajon Pass, 2:16 p.m.

Gusty winds are affecting traffic on the northbound I-15 from about Highway 138 to Oak Hills Road. Large vehicles and trailers are cautioned about traveling through the area.

Traffic advisory, Highway 30, San Bernardino, 1:47 p.m.

A traffic advisory was issued after a truck spilled its' entire cargo of gravel onto the westbound Highway 30 east of Highland Ave., affecting all lanes, according to the CHP. Traffic was backed up to Highway 330, officials said.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Corona 7:51 a.m.

A crash involving three vehicles occurred on the northbound 15 Freeway at Cajalco Road, blocking all but one lane of the freeway. The duration of the Sig Alert was not known. Paramedics came to the scene of the crash. Lanes were reopened at 9:01 a.m.

Traffic hazard, 15 Freeway, Fontana 12:56 p.m.

The CHP received a report of 30 goats on the right shoulder of the southbound 15 Freeway north of Summit Avenue.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 8:32 a.m.

A truck overturned on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Milliken Avenue, blocking the two right lanes. A callbox was knocked over in the crash. Paramedics are responding to the scene. Lanes were cleared at 10:12 a.m.

Caltrans reported there is some slow traffic on the eastbound 91 Freeway at Adams and Arlington through Riverside. Other freeways including the 15, 10, 210, 215 and 60 are flowing smoothly.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Fontana 6:26 a.m.

A collision involving a tractor trailer and two cars occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Cherry Avenue, blocking the two right lanes. The vehicles were moved to the right shoulder by 6:40 a.m. Paramedics responded to the scene of the crash.

Road closure, Highway 173, Hesperia 4:10 a.m.

Highway 173 at Arrowhead Lake Road, in the Mojave River Forks Regional Park, remains closed due to flooding. The closure has been in effect since Sunday morning. The closure extends from Arrowhead Lake Road to Highway 138.

Traffic collision, Highway 40, Newberry Springs 9:45 a.m.

A truck swerved and overturned down an embankment on the westbound Highway 40 near Newberry Road. Paramedics in a helicopter flew to the scene to pick up an injured occupant of the vehicle. Westbound lanes were reopened at 11:01 a.m.

Roadway flooding, Highway 62, Morongo Valley 7:45 a.m.

Caltrans crews are headed to Highway 62 east of Rosella Drive where the road is flooded.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Devore 6:46 a.m.

A utility trailer attached to a Ford F-250 overturned on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Kenwood Avenue, blocking the slow lane. The vehicle and trailer were pushed to the right shoulder. There were no injuries in the crash.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 6:08 a.m.

A four-car crash occurred on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Foothill Boulevard, blocking two lanes.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Redlands 4:45 a.m.

A tractor trailer broke down on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Cypress Avenue, blocking the two left lanes.

Rock slide, 15 Freeway, Devore 4:03 a.m.

Caltrans crews were called to the northbound 15 Freeway north of the 215 interchange to clean up a rock slide. The slide blocked the slow lane. UPDATE: The lane was reopened at 7:06 a.m.

Road closure, Highway 138, Pinon Hills

The CHP closed the 138 between Highway 2 and the 15 Freeway because of power lines that fell across both sides of the highway at 8:34 p.m. Sunday. Southern California Edison and Verizon crews were on scene at 5:30 a.m. this morning making repairs. It was unknown when the highway would be reopened.

Vehicle over the side, 10 Freeway, Colton 11:06 a.m.

The driver of a white Mustang slid over the side of the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Rancho Avenue, causing the vehicle to overturn. The CHP said one occupant of the vehicle got out and started running away from the vehicle. The motorist was carrying a blue container and threw it about 100 yards from the crash.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 10:45 a.m.

Two tractor trailers and a red sedan collided on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Foothill Boulevard.

CHP slowing traffic, Highway 138, Phelan 8:19 a.m.

CHP officers are conducting "round robins" on Highway 138 at Beekley Road to slow traffic due to weather conditions. Round robins, also known as traffic breaks, entail officers driving back and forth in front of traffic to cause motorists to slow or stop. Officers shut down the highway to motorists without chains about 9 p.m. Thursday when snow began falling. Chain restrictions were lifted at 7:39 a.m.

Construction closure, 10 Freeway, Yucaipa 5:33 a.m.

The CHP has shut down at least one lane on the eastbound 10 Freeway at 16th Street due to Caltans construction. The closure is expected to last a couple hours.

Chain restrictions in San Bernardino Mountains, 5 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol has issued chain requirements due to snow on the following highways:
- Highway 18, near Highway 138 to Modoc Drive in Big Bear Lake.
- Highway 38 from Mountain Home Village to Highway 18
- Highways 173 and 189 to Grass Valley
- All of Highway 189
- Highway 330 from the middle passing lane to Highway 18
- Highway 74 from Mountain Center to Pnyon Drive
- Highway 243 from Highway 74 to Lake Fulmor
- Highway 371 from Anza to Highway 74

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, San Bernardino 4:27 a.m.

A driver lost control of a sedan, causing the vehicle to land on its roof on the Waterman Avenue offramp from the eastbound 10 Freeway. The CHP shut down the offramp from 4:38 a.m. until 5:38 a.m. Paramedics came to the scene of the crash.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Big Bear City, 4:29 p.m.

CHP were still trying to clear up a crash on Highway 18 at South Dawn Drive. Several vehicles were involved in a crash that blocked the entire road. Tow trucks were taking cars from the scene as of 4:43 p.m.

Traffic advisory, I-10, San Bernardino, 2:20 p.m.

A traffic advisory was issued after a tow truck slammed into the center divider on the westbound I-10 at the southbound connector to the I-15. The crash was blocking the fasst lane.

Traffic hazard, 60 Freeway, Diamond Bar 1:51 p.m.

A green vehicle stalled in a lane on the eastbound 60 Freeway west of Phillips Ranch Road. Two large white trucks parked behind the vehicle, the CHP said.

Traffic hazard, 10 Freeway, Redlands 11:59 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a bathtub that fell in a lane of the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Tennessee Street.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Ontario 7:09 a.m.

A Dodge truck hit collided with another vehicle and slid down an embankment off the northbound 15 Freeway at the eastbound 10 Freeway.

Chain restrictions in High Desert, Forest Falls, San Bernardino Mountains

The California Highway Patrol said motorists in vehicles other than four-wheel drives with snow tires traveling through the following areas must have chains on their vehicles:
- Highway 18 between Highway 138 and Lucerne Valley
- Highway 138 between the Los Angeles County line and Highway 18
- Highway 189
- Highway 330 from Lower Passing Lane to Highway 18

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Phelan 5:05 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol shut down Highway 18 north of Pinon Hills after several crashes and vehicle spinouts. Officers received a call at 5:05 a.m. of a silver pickup truck that overturned on Highway 18 at Oxford Road. They also received a report of a jackknifed tractor trailer nearby. The CHP requested Caltrans bring cinders to provide traction on the road, but decided at 7:01 a.m. to close the highway instead. The eastbound side was reopened about 8 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a van top in the carpool lane.

A crash involving a tractor trailer and a car occurred on the eastbound 10 east of the southbound 15 Freeway. Paramedics are responding to the scene of the crash.

Freeways through the Inland Empire are flowing smoothly, according to Caltrtans. There's some slowing on the westbound 91 Freeway at Lincoln Avenue due to commuter traffic.

A motorist veered off the westbound 210 Freeway at Del Rosa Avenue into some trees. There were no injuries in the crash.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Fontana 8:25 a.m.

Two sedans and a tractor trailer collided on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Citrus Avenue. The vehicles are along the center divider.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Montclair 7:38 a.m.

A collision between a white Mustang, a red Honda and an Isuzu occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Monte Vista Avenue. The crash is blocking a lane of the freeway and paramedics are responding.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Redlands 6:07 a.m.

A black Scion and a black Honda collided on the westbound 210 Freeway east of San Bernardino Avenue. The CHP said a gray BMW, which was also involved in the collision, was in a ditch. Paramedics are responding to the scene.

Lane closure, 10 Freeway, Yucaipa 5:21 a.m.

Caltrans crews are repairing an overpass on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Live Oak Canyon Road and have closed the fast lane. The closure is expected to last until after 1 p.m.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Ontario 10:46 a.m.

Two cars collided on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Haven Avenue. Paramedics came to the scene.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, San Bernardino 9:48 a.m.

Two vehicles overturned in a crash on the westbound 210 Freeway east of the northbound 215 Freeway. Paramedics are coming to the scene of the crash.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 2:11 a.m.

The two right lanes of the southbound 15 Freeway south of the 210 Freeway are expected to remain closed until at least 8 a.m., due to a crash. The connector road between the westbound 210 Freeway and the southbound 15 is also closed. The freeway was completely reopened just after 10 a.m.

Jackknifed big rig, Highway 58, Kramer 1:10 p.m.

A tractor trailer jackknifed on the westbound Highway 58 west of Kramer, blocking lanes.

Traffic collision, Highway 138, Cajon Pass 12:02 p.m.

A motorist in a gray vehicle crashed on Highway 138 at Meadow Lark Avenue west of the Cajon Pass. The CHP received information that the driver was bleeding and that the westbound lanes were blocked.

A motorcyclist crashed on the westbound 210 Freeway west of Foothill Boulevard and is blocking two lanes. Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash.

Traffic advisory, I-10, Upland 8:49 a.m.

Caltrans closed the Euclid Avenue off-ramp from the westbound 10 Freeway. The CHP received reports of traffic backing up from the closure.

Traffic hazard, Ayala Drive on-ramp to the 210 Freeway 7:56 a.m.

A concrete truck dropped a load of wet cement onto the Ayala Drive on-ramp to the westbound 210 Freeway.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 7:42 a.m.

A three-car crash occurred on the southbound 215 Freeway north of University Parkway, blocking the fast lane. Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash.

Area overview - heavy traffic in Ontario, Corona 7:42 a.m.

Traffic is congested on the northbound 15 Freeway at Philadelphia Street, the westbound 60 Freeway at Milliken Avenue and the eastbound 10 Freeway east of the 15 Freeway in Ontario. The westbound 91 Freeway is also crawling due to commuter traffic between McKinley Avenue and Serfas Club Drive in Corona.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Ontario 6:14 a.m.

A tractor trailer broke down on the southbound 15 Freeway, snarling traffic for miles.
The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-Alert at 6:14 a.m. after the semi stopped in the middle of the freeway south of Jurupa Street. By 7 a.m., traffic had backed up to at least the 10 Freeway. Workers were unable to move the tractor trailer immediately because its back brakes had locked up. The Sig Alert was canceled at 7:36 a.m.

Traffic collision, I-215, Yucaipa, 2:27 p.m.

A crash blocked lanes on the I-215 south of the 91 Freeway. A truck and a Pontiac Sunbird were reportedly blocking lanes of traffic. A tow truck had been called out to finishing clearing lanes as of 4:16 p.m.

Lane closure, 60 Freeway, Ontario 8:38 a.m.

The carpool and fast lane has been closed from Milliken Avenue to Country Village Road in Glen Avon.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Ontario 7:56 a.m.

A gold van and a black sedan collided on the eastbound 60 Freeway east of Mountain Avenue. The vehicles stopped on the right shoulder.

Commuter traffic is crawling on the westbound 91 Freeway at Lincoln in Corona. There are no major traffic jams on other area highways.

A beige Toyota and a red Ford truck collided on the westbound 210 Freeway at Arden Avenue. The crash resulted in minor injuries.

A Toyota 4-Runner and a tractor trailer collided on the westbound 10 Freeway west of the northbound 215 Freeway. There were no injuries in the crash.

Traffic is moving slowly on the northbound 15 Freeway between Second and Sixth streets in Norco. The westbound 91 Freeway at Main Street is also congested with commuter traffic. All other area highways are clear.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway Rancho Cucamonga 8:08 a.m.

A tractor trailer is partly hanging over the side of the northbound 15 Freeway at Arrow Route, blocking the slow lane. The CHP issued a Sig alert. Update: The lane was cleared at 9:19 a.m.

Traffic collision, 57 Freeway, Glendora 7:24 a.m.

Two cars collided on the northbound 57 Freeway at the eastbound 210 Freeway. One of the cars veered down the side of the freeway into a grass area and the other stopped along the center divider. Paramedics have been called to the scene.

Overturned vehicle, 10 Freeway, Pomona 7:20 a.m.

A motorist overturned a vehicle onto the right shoulder of the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Towne Avenue. Paramedics have been called to the scene of the crash.

Traffic is backed up less than a mile on the eastbound 60 Freeway near Pyrite Street due to a crash. There is also some heavy commuter traffic on the westbound 91 Freeway at Lincoln Avenue in Corona, according to Caltrans.

Sig Alert, 60 Freeway, Glen Avon 5:12 a.m.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert for the eastbound 60 Freeway near Pyrite Street following a crash involving two big rigs and a car. The three right lanes remain closed and there is no estimate on when the freeway will be completely reopened.

Traffic collision, I-215, San Bernardino, 4:55 p.m.

An SUV has run off the road and down an embankment on the southbound I-215 north of Mill St. Fire officials had to access the vehicle from Second St. Traffic is backed up past Inland Center Drive. CHP reports that it will have to close down several lanes to retrieve the vehicle.

A two-car crash occurred on the northbound Highway 57 at Diamond Bar Boulevard, blocking the carpool and fast lanes.

Caltrans is reporting some slow traffic on the westbound 210 Freeway at Archibald Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga, as well as the eastbound Highway 91 at Jefferson and the westbound 91 at Grand Avenue in Corona.

Three vehicles stopped in the carpool lane following a crash on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Euclid Avenue.

Road closure, I-15, Mountain Pass 7:20 a.m.

The CHP is escorting motorists at the northbound 15 at Kingston Road west of Mountain Pass. The freeway had been closed due to snow and low visibility.

Fuel spill, I-15, Fontana 6:52 a.m.

A semi truck stopped on the right shoulder after a fuel line broke. The CHP said about 50 to 75 gallons spilled on a 100-foot area in the dirt.

Sig alert, Highway 60, Ontario 10:32 a.m.

The CHP shut down the Grove Avenue onramp to the westbound Highway 60 after a semi trailer overturned, completely blocking the onramp. As of noon, the semi had been uprighted, but there remained no estimate on when the onramp would be reopened.

Traffic collision, I-215, Riverside 7:59 a.m.

A four-car crash occurred on the southbound 215 Freeway at University Avenue by UCR. The crash is blocking the fast lane and an ambulance is responding to the scene.

Traffic hazard, Highway 57, San Dimas 7:47 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a large dog that is walking from the center divider into traffic and back along the center divider on the southbound Highway 57 at the Highway 71 connector road.

Traffic collision, Highway 60, Glen Avon 7:32 a.m.

A crash involving a Chevy Cobalt and a Lincoln Continental occurred on the eastbound Highway 60 at the Pedley Road off ramp. The CHP said one of the vehicles was broadsided by the other vehicle. Officers said drivers began heading the wrong direction of the offramp, creating a traffic hazard.

Traffic hazard, Highway 57, Diamond Bar 8:42 a.m.

A sport-utility vehicle is stopped in the carpool lane after losing a tire on the northbound Highway 57 at Pathfinder Road. The CHP said the tire struck a vehicle on the southbound side of the highway.

Traffic advisory, Jurupa Street near I-15, Ontario 7:33 a.m.

A tractor trailer overturned on Jurupa Street just off the southbound 15 Freeway. Two eastbound lanes are closed, as well as the Jurupa Street offramp. Traffic is backing up on the southbound 15 near the offramp.
