Traffic fatality, 60 Freeway, Pomona 10:47 a.m.

A vehicle crashed into the center divider on the westbound 60 Freeway west of Reservoir Street, killing at least one occupant. The CHP issued a Sig Alert at 11:04 a.m. and shut down westbound lanes. Both sides of the freeway were temporarily closed while a helicopter landed to pick up a victim. The crash affected traffic on the southbound 71 Freeway transition to the eastbound 60.
