The CHP said the driver who caused the motorist to lose control did not stop for the crash. The victim received minor injuries. No lanes were blocked but traffic slowed through the area.
A black sport-utility vehicle broke down on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Central Avenue, blocking the carpool lane.
Three vehicles - a BMW, a green Dodge and a blue Honda - were involved in a crash on the westbound 60 Freeway at Garey Avenue, blocking the middle lanes. The vehicles were moved to the right shoulder at 11:34 a.m.

A semi truck crashed into a vehicle that was stopped in the truck lane on the northbound 15 Freeway at Glen Helen Road at 3:53 a.m. The CHP initially shut down the fast lane on the northbound side and two southbound lanes. The northbound 15 has since been reopened, but the two southbound lanes remain closed. One person in the stopped vehicle was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment. The semi, which smashed through the center divider, scattered concrete debris and diesel fuel across lanes. Crews remained on scene for cleanup. UPDATE: Lanes were reopened at 6:22 a.m.
The CHP shut down the University Street off-ramp off the eastbound 10 Freeway after a motorist lost control on the off-ramp and struck a tree, suffering fatal injuries. The duration of the closure was not known.

Two vehicles slid over the side of the 15 Freeway this morning, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig Alert. The crash, involving a blue Ford Bronco and a second car, occurred on the northbound 15 Freeway north of the Santa Ana River bridge about 8 a.m. Both drivers appeared to have suffered major injuries.
A Ford and a tractor trailer collided on the eastbound 60 Freeway on the Rubidoux Avenue off-ramp.
Two big rigs collided 10 p.m. Wednesday on the northbound 15 Freeway at Halloran Springs Road and one burst into flames. The burning semi truck scattered about 100 tires on the roadway. The CHP shut down all northbound lanes due to the fire and began moving traffic through on the shoulder around midnight this morning. By that time, traffic had backed up around three or four miles. One lane was reopened just before 3 a.m. One lane remains closed for the clean up.
The California Highway Patrol received a report of 2-by-4 pieces of lumber scattered all over lanes of the southbound 15 Freeway south of Summit Avenue at 12:45 p.m.
A motorist struck the center divider on the eastbound 40 Freeway at 12:18 p.m. The incident was initially reported as a rollover crash. A 2-year-old girl received a minor head injury, but her parents declined medical attention at the scene.

A white Hyundai sedan and a silver Kia sport-utility vehicle collided on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Kenwood Avenue. One of the vehicles caught fire after the crash.

A crash involving a cement truck and two other vehicles occurred on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Haven Avenue, resulting in a 50-gallon diesel fuel spill. The CHP said the fuel spilled into a storm drain, prompting a call to the Department of Fish and Game. Motorists involved in the crash reported there were injuries.

A motorcyclist crashed on the westbound 10 Freeway east of 6th Street after striking a large barbecue on the westbound 10 Freeway east 6th Street. Witnesses said the rider was speeding about 110 mph in and out of traffic when he crashed. Lanes were cleared at 6:08 a.m.
A tractor trailer overturned on the westbound 40 Freeway east of the Desert Oasis rest area, blocking one lane and the right shoulder. At 6:28 a.m., the CHP estimated the road would be partially blocked for another four hours. The crash resulted in minor injuries.
A tractor trailer broke down on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Kenwood Avenue, partially blocking the slow lane. The trailer had a broken air line, the CHP said.
The CHP received a report of two elderly men on bicycles on the westbound 40 Freeway near the Arizona state line.

A pickup truck driver crashed into two semi trucks on the westbound 40 Freeway near Kelbaker Road. One of the tractor trailers was blocking a lane at 7:53 a.m. The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi was on the Cedar on-ramp off the westbound 10 at 4:05 a.m. when the tractor trailer overturned, the CHP said. Part of the driver's load of wood shavings spilled onto the right shoulder. There was also a small fuel leak.
The CHP issued a Sig Alert due to a vehicle becoming trapped under a tractor trailer on the westbound 60 Freeway at Euclid Avenue. Two lanes are blocked and one person was trapped in a vehicle due to the crash. The Sig Alert was canceled at 11:33 a.m.
Caltrans closed one lane of the southbound 15 Freeway at National Trails Highway for construction. The duration of the closure was not known.
