Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Baker

|

Two big rigs collided 10 p.m. Wednesday on the northbound 15 Freeway at Halloran Springs Road and one burst into flames. The burning semi truck scattered about 100 tires on the roadway. The CHP shut down all northbound lanes due to the fire and began moving traffic through on the shoulder around midnight this morning. By that time, traffic had backed up around three or four miles. One lane was reopened just before 3 a.m. One lane remains closed for the clean up.
