A tractor trailer hauling about 7,000 gallons of fuel overturned on the 40 Freeway this morning, forcing the closure of eastbound lanes. The driver received minor injuries in the 1:39 a.m. crash near Needles. The California Highway Patrol said the driver lost control and the big rig overturned on its side, spilling a small amount of fuel onto the road. One eastbound lane was reopened at 2:50 a.m., but the other lane remained closed as of 6:30 a.m.
