Road closure, Highway 95, Vidal Junction

|

Dirt, gravel and water forced the closure of Highway 95 west of the Arizona state line late Monday. The closure remains in effect today.
The California Highway Patrol requested the closure at 10:50 p.m. after heavy rain began falling in the area west of Lake Havasu, flooding the roadway.
Highway 95 was closed from Vidal Junction at Highway 62 south to the 10 Freeway in Blythe. Officers remained on scene this morning.
The duration of the closure was not known.
