The CHP issued a traffic advisory due to holiday traffic on the northbound 15 Freeway at Kenwood Avenue.

The CHP shut down the slow lane on the eastbound 210 Freeway at the northbound 57 Freeway after a disabled semi truck began leaking fuel.

The tree is described as very large and is blocking Covina Hills Road at Holt Avenue, said a sheriff's dispatcher. Covina Hills Road is only one lane in both directions

Highway 138 between the 15 Freeway and Beekley Road was closed about 7:30 a.m. due to white out conditions - low visibility caused by the weather. The CHP was preparing to close Highway 247 in Barstow, and may also shut down the Cajon Pass if the snow falls too heavily for snow plows to keep up.
Caltrans officials urged bus and truck drivers to avoid Highways 18 and 38 toward Big Bear today due to weather conditions.
Highway 18 from Big Bear Dam to Talbot Drive in Big Bear Lake has been closed until further notice due to snow, Caltrans officials said.
All other areas of the San Bernardino Mountains are open, but chains are required.

The CHP received a report of three big rigs stuck in the snow along Highway 38 at Barton Flats Road. At 9:19 a.m., a tow company estimated it would take about 2 1/2 hours to put on chains and head to the scene.

A tractor trailer collided with a car on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Bear Valley Road. The big rig driver said the crash might have resulted in fatal injuries.

A motorcyclist in a funeral procession crashed on the southbound 215 Freeway at the westbound 10 Freeway and fell beside the center divider.

A sport-utility vehicle overturned on the Fruit Street off-ramp from the westbound 210 Freeway. The CHP received reports that the crash resulted in injuries. Officers issued a 45-minute Sig Alert at 9:31 a.m.

The Green River Road off-ramp off the westbound 91 Freeway has been closed for repaving. The closure is scheduled until 3 p.m.

A vehicle crash on the eastbound 60 Freeway west of Diamond Bar Boulevard, blocking one lane. The driver complained of back pain, but declined to be taken to a hospital.

A blue Ford F-150 and a black Honda collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Euclid Avenue. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder. There were no injuries.

The CHP received a report of a fire near railroad tracks on Minneola Road ad the northbound 15 Freeway. A caller said there were small flames and lots of smoke in the area.

A white GMC Yukon crashed into the guard rail on the southbound 215 Freeway at Little League Drive. There were no injuries.

A crash involving three or four vehicles occurred on the westbound 210 Freeway at the 57 Freeway interchange, blocking the carpool lane and slowing traffic through the area. The CHP received reports that at least one person may have received minor injuries. Lanes were cleared at 6:11 a.m.

A green Saturn flipped several times on the southbound 215 Freeway north of Mount Vernon Avenue and landed on its roof. The vehicle collided with a gray Dodge Ram.

Three small brush fires prompted the closure of Pyrite Street off-ramp from the westbound 60 Freeway. The fires were reported at 11:25 a.m. and traffic was stopped on the westbound side due to smoke blowing across the freeway. At 11:43 a.m., the California Highway Patrol estimated the off-ramp would be closed about an hour. UPDATE: The off-ramp was reopened at 12:19 p.m.

A black sport-utility vehicle overturned on the northbound 15 Freeway at Palmdale Road. The CHP said the vehicle was struck by a black Mustang, whose driver stopped along the center divider.

The CHP received a report of a Christmas tree blocking the fast lane on the northbound 215 Freeway south of Inland Center Drive. Officers also received a report of FedEx packages that had dropped in lanes at the same location.

Two separate crashes occurred on the westbound 60 Freeway at Diamond Bar Boulevard, blocking the carpool lane.

A light blue truck and a black sedan collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Rancho Avenue, blocking two lanes. The CHP said one of the drivers ran from a vehicle. There were no injuries.

A tractor trailer overturned into a ditch on Highway 95, about 10 miles south of Needles.

A semi truck and a Mercury collided on the southbound 15 Freeway at Lenwood Road. The semi partially blocked a lane. There were no injuries. The road was cleared at 10:52 a.m.

A deer was struck on the southbound 15 Freeway near Highway 138, blocking one lane. Caltrans and the Department of Fish and Game came to the scene to remove the deer, who survived the collision. Lanes were cleared at 6:44 a.m.

A multiple vehicle collision has caused the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig Alert for the eastbound 10 Freeway just west of South Waterman Avenue.

The collision resulted in four minor injuries.

A Fedex tractor trailer jackknifed and overturned on the westbound 60 Freeway this morning, prompting a Sig Alert and the closure of several lanes.
The semi jackknifed into the right shoulder wall at Pyrite Street at 4:14 a.m., blocking three lanes. Traffic backed up more than two miles while crews offloaded the overturned trailer so it could be tipped back onto its wheels. By 8:38 a.m., all but the slow lane had been reopened.

A silver Dodge truck pulling a trailer jackknifed on the northbound 15 Freeway near Highway 138 and collided with a red Toyota Tacoma. Lanes were blocked and at least one person received injuries.

A black Ford Focus and a tractor trailer collided on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Highway 58. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder.

A truck caught on fire on the Euclid Avenue off-ramp from the westbound 60 Freeway. A caller said the blaze caught nearby brush on fire. One lane was closed.

The CHP received a report of a crash involving a motorhome whose driver crashed into stopped traffic on the westbound 10 west of Yucaipa Boulevard. About four vehicles were involved in the collision and all lanes were blocked.

The CHP received a report of a deer blocking the fast lane on the westbound 60 Freeway at Phillips Ranch Road.

Lanes were closed on Highway 18 near High Road for construction. Crews left one lane open to alternate between east- and westbound traffic.

A motorist in a lime green Ford Mustang struck a motorcyclist and did not stop for the crash on the southbound 57 Freeway at the eastbound 60 Freeway. The CHP said the driver may have had a license plate number containing "4NLV". The motorist drove away in the carpool lane. Los Angeles County firefighters came to the scene to help the rider, who suffered injuries.

A tractor trailer overturned on Meridian Street at Highway 18, blocking the roadway. There were no injuries.

A beige Nissan Maxima crashed on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Fourth Street and blocked the carpool lane. The CHP received reports that the driver was bleeding from the head. The CHP issued a traffic advisory, which was canceled shortly after 9:30 a.m.
