|

A tractor trailer hauling 42,000 pounds of television parts caught on fire on the southbound 57 Freeway in San Dimas forcing the closure of connector roads to the 10 Freeway. The fire was reported at 1:30 a.m. on the 57 at the westbound 10 interchange.
The cab of the semi was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on scene. Officers shut down the connectors to the east and westbound 10 and issued a Sig Alert. Crews were at the scene this morning off-loading the semi and cleaning up debris from the fire.
The transition roads were expected to be reopened around 7 to 7:30 a.m.
