A woman died in a 10 Freeway crash in Claremont this morning, forcing the closure of several lanes. The California Highway Patrol shut down the carpool lane and three other lanes on the eastbound 10 west of Indian Hill Boulevard after the 5:14 a.m. crash. A Sig Alert was issued for an unknown duration. Two lanes were reopened at 10:18 a.m. The freeway was expected to be completely reopened by around 1 p.m.
A black sport-utility vehicle overturned on the Haven Avenue on-ramp to the eastbdound 210 Freeway, blocking lanes. A caller reported one person who was in the vehicle was bleeding.

A vehicle crashed on the 60 Freeway east of Diamond Bar Boulevard, spilling oil across three lanes and prompting a Sig Alert. The crash was reported at 4:33 a.m. on the eastbound 60 Freeway. The motorist struck the center divider, causing oil to spread across the freeway. Caltrans crews arrived about 5:30 a.m. to clean up the spill. The Sig Alert was canceled at 6:46 a.m.
California Highway Patrol officers have shut down the eastbound and westbound 60 Freeway at Gilman Springs Road because of a fire in the area.
