Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Pomona 11:59 a.m.

A box truck and a beige sedan collided on the eastbound 60 Freeway west of Reservoir Street. The CHP issued a 30-minute Sig Alert at 12:15 p.m. because four lanes were blocked.

A red sedan overturned on the 40 Freeway east of National Trails Highway, blocking a lane.

Traffic hazard, Highway 62, Morongo Valley 8:03 a.m.

A vehicle broke down in the fast lane on Highway 62 at Hess Boulevard. The CHP received a report of two people standing behind the vehicle.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Colton 1:09 p.m.

A black Honda Accord spun out, drove over the side of the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Pepper Avenue and then overturned.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Pomona 12:34 p.m.

A vehicle overturned on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Towne Avenue, knocking down about 70 feet of fencing. The vehicle stopped on the right shoulder.

Traffic collision, Highway 247, Lucerne Valley 8:48 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a child who was run over by a car on Highway 247 at Highwy 18. Firefighters said the child suffered a minor injury.

Traffic hazard, 10 Freeway, Redlands 11:37 a.m.

A red van blocked the fast lane on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Mountain View Avenue.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Yucaipa 7:55 a.m.

A motorcycle and an Audi collided on the westbound 10 Freeway at 16th Street, blocking the fast lane. At least one person involved in the crash was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment. Lanes were cleared at 8:31 a.m.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Highland 11:57 a.m.

A red Ford pickup, a green Nissan sedan and a third vehicle collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Fifth Street, blocking lanes.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Fontana 8:52 a.m.

A white Honda Accord veered off the Cherry Avenue off-ramp from the westbound 210 Freeway and went over the side of the road. The CHP said a blue Toyota Corolla may have also been involved in the crash and was blocking lanes.

Traffic collision, Highway 38, Lake Williams 10:26 a.m.

A three car crash occurred on Highway 38 north of Onyx Summit, blocking a lane. There were no reported injuries. Lanes were cleared at 11:07 a.m.

Southbound I-215 closed at Highland Avenue Wednesday and Thursday

Southbound Interstate 215 will be closed at Highland Avenue from midnight to 5 a.m. Wednesday (February 24) and Thursday (February 25).

Caltrans is suggesting the following detour:

  • Exit 27th Street, turn right, travel south, turn left at Highland Avenue and re-enter the freeway at SR-259.

Traffic collision, Highway 38, Angelus Oaks 6:43 a.m.

A crash involving a gray Toyota pickup and a Caltrans employee occurred on Highway 38 near Upper Road. One of the vehicles went over the side of the highway.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 1 p.m.

A silver Toyota Echo and a Honda Civic collided on the southbound 215 Freeway north of Auto Plaza Drive, blocking the two left lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 8:13 a.m.

A semi truck broke down on the Base Line Road on-ramp to the southbound 15 Freeway, blocking a lane. The CHP issued a Sig Alert, which lasted until 9:15 a.m.

Northbound I-215 closed at Highland Avenue Monday and Tuesday

Northbound Interstate 215 is scheduled to be closed at Highland Avenue from midnight to 5 a.m. Monday (February 22) and Tuesday (February 23).

Caltrans is suggesting the following detour:

  • Exit Muscupiabe Drive, travel north, turn left on 27th Street, and re-enter I-215.
Check out the map below for alternate detours.

Southbound Interstate 215 will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Wednesday (February 24) and Thursday (February 25).

Sig Alert, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 11:15 a.m.

A tan Trailblazer struck the center divider wall on the southbound 215 Freeway in San Bernardino, prompting a Sig Alert. The crash was reported at 11:15 a.m. on the northbound 215 Freeway north of Palm Avenue. The traffic congestion caused by the crash triggered two other collisions on the 215. At 12:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said the Sig Alert would last until about 1:30 p.m.

A mudslide blocked lanes on the transition road from the westbound 10 Freeway to the northbound 57 Freeway. The CHP shut down the transition road so Caltrans could use a bulldozer to clear the highway. The duration of the closure was unknown.
The California Highway Patrol is on scene of a big-rig fire and fuel spill on the northbound 15 Freeway at Jurupa Avenue in Ontario.

As of 3:30 p.m. the # 3 lane was shut down for clean up, according to information from the CHP.

The eastbound lanes of Jurupa are also closed.

Traffic collision, 57 Freeway, Diamond Bar 9:40 a.m.

A two-car crash occurred on the southbound 57 Freeway south of Diamond Bar Boulevard, blocking the carpool lane.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, San Bernardino 7:46 a.m.

A grey Chevrolet Silverado spun out and stopped about 40 feet over the side of the State Street off-ramp from the eastbound 210 Freeway. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Ontario 7:29 a.m.

A two car crash occurred on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Milliken Avenue, blocking the slow lane.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Devore 9:04 a.m.

A white four-door Lexus crashed in the center divider on the northbound 15 Freeway south of Glen Helen Parkway. Paramedics came to the scene to help at least one person who complained of head pain from the crash.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Fontana 5:16 a.m.

A pickup truck crashed into the center divider wall on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Sierra Avenue and stopped facing the wrong direction. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Rialto 4:52 a.m.

A white Ford Explorer overturned on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Riverside Avenue, blocking two to three lanes.

Caltrans I-215 closures for Tuesday through Thursday

The northbound Second Street and Base Line off-ramps from Interstate 215 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday (February 16) through Thursday (February 18).

Caltrans is suggesting the following detours:

  • Second Street: Exit Mill Street, turn right, and turn left on G Street.
  • Base Line: Exit Fifth Street, turn left on H Street, and travel north.
Also be aware that during those same hours Tuesday through Thursday, the northbound number 2 and 3 lanes near Base Line and the southbound number 1 and 2 lanes from Base Line to Third Street will be will be subject to closure.

They're not offering a detour, since at least one lane will be open, but you might want to consider an alternate route.

Fair warning: Full freeway closures early morning Tuesday through Thursday next week.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Victorville 12:47 p.m.

A silver Kia sport-utility vehicle and a white sedan collided on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Bear Valley Road. Both vehicle stopped along the center divider. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Hesperia 11:58 a.m.

A vehicle and a motorcycle collided on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Highway 395, blocking one lane.

Sig Alert, Highway 18, Green Valley Lake 5:06 a.m.

A rescue by San Bernardino County firefighters prompted the CHP to issue a Sig Alert on Highway 18 at Green Valley Lake Road. Fire officials said someone was trapped on a steep hill. The road was reopened at 6:56 a.m.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Fontana 12:57 p.m.

A car hauler and a Toyota Corolla collided on the Sierra Avenue off-ramp from the eastbound 10 Freeway. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Highland 7:59 a.m.

A gray Toyota Yaris and a red Chevy collided on the eastbound 210 west of Fifth Street. Both vehicles stopped along the center divider. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Redlands 12:22 p.m.

A silver Ford Focus, a gray Toyota sport-utility vehicle and a white Ford van collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway west of Orange Street. All vehicles stopped on the right shoulder.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Ontario 7:32 a.m.

A pickup truck flipped onto its roof on the westbound 60 Freeway east of Vineyard Avenue, blocking the carpool and fast lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Big Bear Lake 7:23 a.m.

A silver Nissan pickup truck overturned and landed back on its wheels on Highway 18 west of Big Bear Dam. The vehicle landed on the right shoulder.

Traffic advisory, 15 Freeway, Wheaton Springs 11:03 a.m.

Caltrans closed the two right lanes on the southbound 15 Freeway north of Wheaton Springs for construction. All lanes were reopened by about 1 p.m.

Lane closure, 10 Freeway, Ontario 8:09 a.m.

The carpool and fast lanes on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Archibald Avenue were scheduled to be closed until 2 p.m. for roadwork.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Running Springs 9:47 a.m.

A vehicle struck a pedestrian on Highway 18 east of Snow Valley Ski Resort and continued driving. The driver reported to the CHP he was unable to return to the crash site because he had no chains on his tires.

Animal on road, 57 Freeway, Diamond Bar 8:27 a.m.

The CHP received a report of several deer on the right shoulder of the northbound 57 Freeway at Pathfinder Road.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 7:38 a.m.

A red Jeep Cherokee and a white Ford F-250 were involved in a crash on the southbound 215 Freeway at Base Line Road. The CHP received a report that one of the motorists may have received an injury from hitting the steering wheel.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 12:05 p.m.

A burgundy Toyota Supra swerved to avoid a chair on the freeway and veered off the freeway. The CHP received information that one person received head trauma in the crash.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Big Bear Lake 8:41 a.m.

A silver pickup and a white pickup truck collided on Highway 18 near Big Bear Dam, blocking lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Sig Alert, 210 Freeway, Glendora 8:22 a.m.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert following a three-car crash on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Lone Hill Avenue. The crash blocked the carpool and fast lanes. Los Angeles County firefighters came to the scene to help at least one person who was injured. The Sig Alert was canceled at 9:21 a.m.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Glendora 6:07 a.m.

A motorcyclist crashed on the westbound 210 Freeway at Lone Hill Avenue. Both sides of the freeway were shut down temporarily so a helicopter could land and take the rider to a hospital. Traffic backed up several miles, nearly to the San Bernardino County line. The 210 was cleared at 7:03 a.m.

A red Ford Explorer broke down on the northbound 15 Freeway south of Jurupa Street, blocking the slow lane.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Ontario 12:40 p.m.

A white Ford F-350 and a Chevy Suburban collided on the southbound 15 Freeway south of Jurupa Street, blocking the slow lane.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, San Bernardino 12:28 p.m.

A black pickup truck and a red Toyota collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway on the H Street off-ramp, blocking at least one lane.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Ontario 7:20 a.m.

A black sedan and another vehicle collided on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Fourth Street, blocking the fast lane. At least one person received minor injuries in the crash.

Traffic hazard, 60 Freeway, Diamond Bar 1:15 p.m.

A small two-door Toyota stalled in the carpool lane on the eastbound 60 Freeway east of Diamond Bar Boulevard.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Rancho Cucamonga 8:39 a.m.

A silver sedan drove up the right shoulder embankment and overturned near the Carnelian Avenue off-ramp from the westbound 210 Freeway. The crash blocked the fast lane.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Redlands 7:39 a.m.

A crash involving two sedans and a sport-utility vehicle occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway east of California Street. The CHP received a report that a child was injured in the crash.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Ontario 9 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig Alert for the Jurupa Street on-ramp near the southbound 15 Freeway after a tractor trailer tipped over on its side and blocked lanes. The truck tipped over about 9 a.m., blocking the right lane. CHP officers shut down the on-ramp and the westbound left turn lane at Jurupa. The Sig Alert was issued about 10:25 a.m. and will remain in effect until the truck is turned upright.

A two-car crash occurred on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of State Street, blocking the two right lanes.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 7:25 a.m.

A black sedan had a tire blowout, veered over the side of the southbound 215 Freeway and overturned on the Mill Street on-ramp. The vehicle landed on its roof.

A tan Ford Explorer struck a sedan that was stopped in the slow lane on the westbound 210 Freeway near San Bernardino Avenue.

A silver Nissan Titan and a blue BMW collided on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Day Creek Boulevard, blocking the fast lane. The vehicles were moved to the right shoulder at 8:24 a.m.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, Big Bear Lake 7:08 a.m.

A vehicle overturned on Highway 18 west of Big Bear Dam, blocking lanes. The road was cleared at 8:18 a.m.
