Hit and run, 15 Freeway, Ontario 12:12 p.m.

A tan Chevy sedan was struck by another vehicle on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Jurupa Street. The second vehicle did not stop for the crash. The CHP received reports that at least one person was injured.

Pedestrian on the roadway, 10 Freeway, Colton 12:06 p.m.

The CHP received a report of a woman holding a large American flag on the right shoulder of the westbound 10 Freeway west of the 215 Freeway. There was no vehicle parked nearby.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Rialto 10:27 p.m.

A silver Ford Expedition struck the center divider and flipped over on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Ayala Drive. The vehicle blocked the carpool and fast lanes. A caller said the driver had been in eastbound lanes and landed on the opposite side of the freeway.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Fontana 8:26 a.m.

A four-car crash occurred on the Sierra Avenue off-ramp from the eastbound 10 Freeway. All vehicles stopped on the right shoulder.

27th Street on- and off-ramp to close for two years

Due to the continuing I-215 widening project, the northbound 27th Street off-ramp and the southbound 27th Street on-ramp will be closed for approximately two years beginning Friday (April 2).

Suggested detours are as follows:

  • Northbound: Exit Muscupiabe Drive, turn right and continue north to 27th Street.
  • Southbound: Travel south on Mount Vernon Avenue, turn left onto Highland Avenue, and enter southbound on SR-259.

A semi truck hauling a back hoe struck the Barton Road overpass on the southbound 215 Freeway. There were no reported injuries, but concrete debris fell into lanes from the impact.

A brown Toyota struck the center divider and spun out on the northbound 15 Freeway north of the 10 Freeway, partially blocking the fast lane. The road was cleared at 9:23 a.m.

A tractor trailer and a tan Honda Accord collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Sierra Avenue. The CHP received reports that the Honda was pinned under the semi.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Pomona 8:24 a.m.

A Lexus and a black Honda collided on the westbound 60 Freeway west of Phillips Ranch Road, blocking the fast lane. The road was clear at 8:48 a.m.

Lane closure, 10 Freeway, Beaumont 7:53 a.m.

One lane was closed on the westbound 10 near Oak Valley Parkway for road work. The closure was schedule to last until 2 p.m.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Pomona 11:07 a.m.

A blue Toyota Tacoma pickup, a black Honda Accord and a black Nissan Sentra collided on the westbound 60 Freeway west of Phillips Ranch Road, blocking the fast lane. Los Angeles County firefighters came to the scene to help one person who complained of pain from the crash.

A gray Saturn ion crashed on the northbound 215 Freeway transition road to the southbound 15 Freeway, blocking the two right lanes.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway, Hesperia 12:41 p.m.

A two-car crash occurred on the northbound 15 Freeway at Highway 395, blocking three lanes.

Hit and run, 15 Freeway, Fontana 11:13 a.m.

A white tractor trailer struck a white and blue Albertson's semi truck on the northbound 15 Freeway south of Base Line Road and continued driving. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic hazard, 60 Freeway, Mira Loma 8:18 a.m.

A gray Acura broke down along the center divider on the eastbound 60 Freeway east of Etiwanda Avenue.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 1:10 p.m.

A white Toyota Tacoma and a blue Ford Expedition collided on the northbound 215 Freeway at Mill Street. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder.

Hit and run, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 10:50 a.m.

A tractor trailer driver ran a woman in a Ford F-350 out of her lane, causing the woman to crash into a tan Nissan on the northbound 215 Freeway at the 259 Freeway interchange. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, San Dimas 6:23 a.m.

A Honda Accord and two other vehicles collided on the westbound 10 Freeway at Via Verde, creating a traffic jam to the 57 Freeway. There were no reported injuries.
Due to overhead electrical wire maintenance, Southern California Edison construction crews will briefly be closing both north- and southbound lanes of I-15 in Oak Hills.

The closures are scheduled to take place from 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday (March 27) and Sunday (March 28).

Southbound lanes will be closed at Joshua Street. Northbound lanes will be closed at Oak Hills Road.

During this time, traffic will be diverted to frontage roads.

Detour signs will be posted in advance.

CHP will be monitoring the flow of traffic, but allow for additional time if traveling through the area during the closure.

Sig Alert, 10 Freeway, San Bernardino 11:18 a.m.

A truck pulling a trailer overturned on the westbound 10 Freeway at Richardson Street in San Bernardino, prompting a Sig Alert. The California Highway Patrol issued the Sig Alert at 11:18 a.m., closing the slow lane for an unknown duration. There were no reported injuries in the crash.

A silver Toyota Corolla and a blue Kia collided on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Mountain Avenue. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 7:27 a.m.

A crash involving five vehicles occurred on the southbound 215 Freeway north of Inland Center drive, blocking the fast lane. The crash resulted in injuries. Lanes were cleared at 7:54 a.m.

Four cars and a semi truck collided on the northbound 15 Freeway at the 210 Freeway interchange, blocking two lanes.

Traffic collision, 15 Freeway , Ontario 11:07 a.m.

A red sedan crashed on the northbound 15 Freeway south of Jurupa Street, blocking the slow lane. The crash spread a large amount of debris in lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Pedestrian on roadway, Highway 138, Crestline 8:30 a.m.

The CHP received a report of a pedestrian jumping in front of vehicles on Highway 138 at Kay Road. A caller reported the person was possibly intoxicated.
Due to the ongoing construction on Interstate 15, the westbound I-10 connector to southbound I-15 and the southbound I-15 Jurupa Street off-ramp, are scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. Friday (March 19) through 5 a.m. Monday (March 22).

Detour signs will be posted to indicate alternate routes.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 8:07 a.m.

A white Ford sedan and two other vehicles crashed on the northbound 215 Freeway at Base Line Road, blocking lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Claremont 5:44 a.m.

A two-car crash occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway west of Indian Hill Boulevard, blocking the left three lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Montclair 7:25 a.m.

A crash involving three to four vehicles occurred on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Monte Vista Avenue, blocking the carpool and fast lanes.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Hesperia 5:22 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol closed the southbound 15 Freeway about an hour this morning after nails and other building materials spilled on the road from a three-car crash. The crash was reported at Oak Hill Road in Hesperia at 5:22 a.m. Two sedans and a construction truck collided, resulting in minor injuries, said California Highway Patrol Officer Jaci Parent. Officers issued a Sig Alert at 5:35 a.m. They opened one lane at 6 a.m. and the remaining lanes at 6:20 a.m. The crash backed up traffic past Main Street.

Long-term SR-330 closure planned

Due to a culvert failure, SR-330 will be closed for three to four weeks, depending on the availability of materials to do the repairs, beginning today (March 16).

The highway will be closed from Highland Avenue in San Bernardino to Live Oak Drive in Running Springs.

SR-330 will be closed to downbound traffic beginning early afternoon today. It will be closed to upbound traffic beginning at 7 p.m. this evening.

Use SR-18 and SR-38 as alternates during the closure.

Traffic collision, 215 Freeway, Colton 8:53 a.m.

A green Honda Accord crashed into the center divider on the northbound 215 Freeway south of the 10 Freeway, blocking the fast lane. The crash resulted in minor injuries.

Lane closure, Highway 330, San Bernardino 8 a.m.

Caltrans crews closed two lanes of Highway 330 at Highland Avenue this morning to repair erosion damage. The closure on the border of Highland and San Bernardino was scheduled to last until 4 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Sig Alert, 60 Freeway, Chino 10:50 a.m.

The CHP issued a Sig Alert at 10:50 a.m. due to Caltrans roadwork, which blocked the slow lane on the westbound 60 west of Ramona Avenue. The Sig Alert was expected to last four hours.

Traffic hazard, 215 Freeway, San Bernardino 9:31 a.m.

A vehicle stalled in the fast lane on the southbound 215 Freeway south of University Parkway. The CHP received a report that a man was standing outside the vehicle and pacing along the center divider.

Traffic collision, 210 Freeway, Upland 8:02 a.m.

A crash blocked the carpool lane on the westbound 210 Freeway at Euclid Avenue. The CHP issued a traffic advisory due to the congestion from the crash.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Yucaipa 12:05 p.m.

A stakebed truck overturned on the right shoulder of the westbound 10 Freeway at Yucaipa Boulevard. The crash did not block lanes.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Ontario 7:52 a.m.

A white Toyota Yaris and a motorcycle collided on the Haven Avenue off-ramp from the eastbound 10 Freeway, partially blocking a lane. The crash resulted in minor injuries.

Traffic hazard, Reche Canyon 12:09 p.m.

The CHP received a report of several donkeys blocking the road in the 7500 block of Reche Canyon Road.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Yucaipa 7:12 a.m.

A green Honda Civic and a black Mitsubishi Eclipse collided on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Yucaipa Boulevard. Both vehicles stopped along the center divider. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 57 Freeway, San Dimas 9:20 a.m.

A vehicle overturned on the southbound 57 Freeway at Via Verde. The crash knocked down a light pole, which blocked the Via Verde on-ramp and one lane.
All lanes to the eastbound 210 freeway are blocked because of a collision with injuries.

A motorcyclist was reported down in the lanes. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

I-10 to southbound I-15 closures this weekend

Due to the ongoing construction on Interstate 15, both the east- and westbound I-10 connectors to southbound I-15, along with the southbound I-15 Jurupa Avenue off-ramp, are scheduled to be closed from 10 p.m. Friday (March 12) through 5 a.m. Monday (March 15).

Detour signs will be posted to indicate alternate routes.

I-215 widening project construction closures through Friday

Construction continues on the Interstate 215 widening project in San Bernardino, with the southbound lanes between Mount Vernon Avenue/27th Street to the SR-259 interchange scheduled to be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Thursday (March 11) and Friday (March 12) morning.

Also scheduled to be closed at times are various on- and off-ramps near downtown from 8 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday (March 11):

  • Southbound Sixth Street off-ramp
  • Southbound Third Street off-ramp
  • Southbound Second Street on-ramp
  • Northbound Second street on- and off-ramps
  • Northbound Sixth Street off-ramp
In addition, various north- and southbound lanes between Second and Sixth streets are scheduled to be closed 8 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. Thursday (March 11). No detours are planned, since at least one lane lane will be open at all times.

A red Saturn and a brown Chevy Astro van collided on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Fourth Street, blocking the fast lane. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 10 Freeway, Ontario 7:39 a.m.

A Chevy Trailblazer crashed on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Fourth Street and began leaking fuel. The crash blocked the two left lanes. The freeway was cleared at 8:30 a.m.

A green Jeep Grand Cherokee and a brown sedan collided on the northbound 15 Freeway north of Highway 138. An occupant of the sedan complained of pain from the crash.

Traffic collision, Highway 18, San Bernardino 9:09 a.m.

A two car crash occurred on Highway 18 at Old Waterman Canyon Road, blocking both uphill and downhill lanes. There were no reported injuries.

Traffic collision, 60 Freeway, Rubidoux 8:08 a.m.

A vehicle struck a van on the eastbound 60 Freeway west of Rubidoux Boulevard, blocking the carpool lane. An occupant of the van suffered injuries.

Hazardous material spill, 10 Freeway, Yucaipa 7:20 a.m.

The CHP shut down the two left lanes on the eastbound 10 Freeway east of Live Oak Canyon Road due to an oil spill.

Sig Alert, 15 Freeway, Baker 4:15 a.m.

A crash involving two tractor trailers and a truck forced the closure of the southbound 15 Freeway near Baker this morning. The California Highway Patrol closed the 15 south of Valley Wells Rest Area after the 3:50 a.m. crash. A Sig Alert was issued at 4:15 a.m. The Sig Alert was canceled at 9:20 a.m.

Northbound I-215 closed at Highland Avenue early Wednesday

Tomorrow's scheduled early morning southbound Interstate 215 closure at Highland Avenue has been changed to a northbound closure.

The northbound closure is expected from midnight to 5 a.m. tomorrow (March 3).

Caltrans is suggesting the following detour:

  • Exit Muscupiabe Drive, travel north, turn left on 27th Street, and re-enter I-215.

The CHP issued a traffic advisory on the southbound 215 Freeway at Washington Street because workers were repairing a bridge. The slow lane and off-ramp were closed. The traffic advisory was cancelled at 9:58 a.m.

A green Volvo and a white Chevy Tahoe crashed on the westbound 10 Freeway east of Via Verde. Both vehicles stopped on the right shoulder. There were no reported injuries.
