Sig Alert, Highway 95, Needles 8:37 a.m.

|
A tractor trailer containing apples overturned on Highway 95 this morning, forcing the closure of northbound lanes south of the Nevada state line. The crash was reported at 2:17 a.m. on the 95 near the 40 Freeway interchange. The semi blocked all lanes, the California Highway Patrol said. At 3:28 a.m., the CHP reported the northbound side of the 95 would be closed for an extended time, but didn't give an estimate on when it would reopen. They issued a Sig Alert at 8:37 a.m.
