I-15 Cajon Pass construction update, February 22 and 23

Construction continues this week I-15 in the Cajon Pass on the emergency paving project to repair pavement damaged during the recent storms.

The next two days of scheduled closures are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday (February 22) and Wednesday (February 23).

Work will be done on southbound lanes, south of the truck scales, both days, dependent on cooperative weather.

Detours are not necessary, since at least two lanes will be open during the closures.

Construction continues on I-15 in the Cajon Pass on the emergency paving project to repair pavement damaged during the recent storms.

The next two days of scheduled closures are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday (February 15) and Wednesday (February 16).

Work will be done on southbound lanes, south of the truck scales, both days.

Detours are not necessary, as at least two lanes will be open during the closures, but Caltrans is warning motorists to expect "lengthy delays."

Another northbound I-215 full closure tonight

Northbound I-215 in San Bernardino will be closed between Muscupiabe Drive and the 210 Freeway from 9 p.m. tonight (February 10) to 5 a.m. tomorrow (February 11). In addition, the connector to SR-259 will be closed during that same time.

Also, alternating lanes, both north- and southbound, between Rialto Avenue and University Parkway will be closed. Detours will not be necessary, since at least one lane will be open.
