The northbound SR-259 connector from the northbound-215 to the eastbound SR-210 will be closed overnight for most of next week.

Here are the closure times:

  • Midnight to 6 a.m. Monday, April 25.
  • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, April 25, to Thursday, April 28.
Caltrans is suggesting the following detour: Stay on I-215 north, exit at Muscupiabe Drive, turn right on Muscupiabe Drive, right again on Highland Avenue and left onto northbound SR-259.

Also, various lanes will be closed between Rialto Avenue and University Parkway on the north- and southbound I-215 midnight to 6 a.m. Monday, April 25, and 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, April 25, to Thursday, April 28, but no detour is necessary, since at least one lane is expected to remain open.

I-15 and SR-60 construction continues

Caltrans is continuing work on two emergency repair projects to replace deteriorating pavement in the Cajon Pass and in Chino/Ontario.

The work will be done at night and at least two lanes will be open, so the impact to commuters should be minimal.

Here's the most recent schedule:

  • Cajon Pass: 9 p.m. to midnight, April 20, I-15 southbound from the brake check area to SR-138.
  • Chino/Ontario: 9 p.m. to 4 a.m, April 18-22 and 25-29, SR-60 westbound between Haven Avenue and Central Avenue.

  • Chino/Ontario: 9 p.m. to 4 a.m, April 11 to 15, SR-60 westbound between Haven Avenue and Central Avenue.
Work on I-15 is expected to continue for one month, while work on SR-60 is expected to be done in a week.
