SR-330, which was washed out in several spots during this winter's storms, but has recently been open to commuter traffic twice a day, will again close Wednesday (May 18) through Friday (May 20).

The full closures are necessary to prepare for the planned unrestricted access during Memorial Day weekend.

Caltrans is expecting to re-open the route to commuter traffic on Monday, May 23, however, further full closures may be necessary before Memorial Day.

Again, the northbound SR-259 connector from the northbound-215 to the eastbound SR-210 will be closed overnight for most of this week.

Here are the closure times:

  • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight (May 8) through Thursday (May 12).
Caltrans is suggesting the following detour: Stay on I-215 north, exit at Muscupiabe Drive, turn right on Muscupiabe Drive, right again on Highland Avenue and left onto northbound SR-259.

Also, various lanes will be closed between Rialto Avenue and University Parkway on the north- and southbound I-215 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. tonight (May 8) through Thursday (May 12), but no detour is necessary, since at least one lane is expected to remain open.

A look ahead:
Next week, Caltrans is planning full I-215 closures between Muscupiabe Drive to the SR-210 connector. Northbound closures are scheduled between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. May 16 and 17. Southbound closures are scheduled between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. May 18 through 20.
