The area around the Guthrie Interchange will see some maintenance construction activity this weekend, but the time frames are short, so it shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (July 31), the southbound I-215 connectors to east- and westbound I-10 will be closed to replace stolen electrical wiring and miscellaneous maintenance repairs.
From 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday (July 31), the westbound I-10 connectors to north- and southbound I-215 will be closed for miscellaneous maintenance repairs.
Also, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, the Inland Center Drive offramp of northbound I-215 will close for guardrail repair.

Two pavement resurfacing projects are starting Monday (July 18) that might slow your drive.
One is on I-15 between Rasor Road to the Nevada state line. The other is on I-40 from Crucero Road to Kelbaker Road.
Work on both projects will take place from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. One lane will remain open at all times.
Both projects are scheduled to be completed by October.

Next week's 215 widening project-related construction will be more tolerable than this week's.
The only full closure will be the southbound SR-259, which will close from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly, Sunday (July 17) through Thursday (July 21).
Caltrans' suggested detour: Head south on SR-259 from westbound SR-210, exit Highland Avenue, turn left to H Street, right on H Street to Orange Street and turn right and enter southbound I-215.
Also, the Massachusetts Avenue bridge remains closed while the switch is made from the old bridge to the new bridge. It is scheduled to reopen July 25.
Various lane closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly, Sunday (July 17) to Thursday (July 21) on both north- and southbound I-215 between Rialto Avenue and University Parkway, but at least one lane will remain open, so no detours are necessary.
