Just got a copy of a memo from Caltrans:
Caltrans and MCM Construction will be opening the northbound I-215 to the westbound SR-210 connector on Thursday morning, 12/22/11. This opening comes 15 months ahead of schedule. MCM Construction and Caltrans have worked diligently to get this connector open as they recognize the importance to motorists.
This connector will reduce travel time as motorists will not have to exit the freeway in order to make this transition. It will also reduce traffic on local city streets.
The eastbound SR-210 to southbound I-215 connector is scheduled to open in March of 2012 at least nine months ahead of schedule.
The connector road from eastbound (really, southbound at that point) SR-210 to westbound I-10 will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday (October 8) for guardrail repair.

- Exit at San Bernardino Avenue, turn left to Alabama Street, then left to the onramp for eastbound I-10.
- Take the connector to eastbound I-10, exit at Orange Street, go forward at the end of the offramp, turn left at Orange Street to the westbound I-10 onramp.
The connector from eastbound (although at that point, it's really southbound) SR-210 to westbound I-10 will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday (July 24) to repair the guardrail.

Next week is going to be rough one for anyone trying to drive through San Bernardino at night.

A black Ford F-150 overturned and landed on its roof on the eastbound 210 Freeway east of Mountain Avenue. No other vehicles were involved. The vehicle was on the right shoulder.
A black sport-utility vehicle and a gold Toyota Tacoma collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of Del Rosa Avenue, blocking two lanes. There were no reported injuries.
A red Volkswagen Jetta spun out and stopped facing the wrong direction along the center divider on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of Alder Avenue.
A crash blocked four lanes on the westbound 210 Freeway at Towne Avenue. The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert at 8:57 a.m. The Sig Alert lasted until 9:46 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert on the 210 Freeway this morning after a sport-utility vehicle overturned, snarling traffic through Upland and Rancho Cucamonga.
The 7:35 a.m. crash on the westbound 210 at the Campus Avenue off-ramp in Upland blocked three lanes, said CHP Officer Steven Cuevas. Traffic backed up several miles to Haven Avenue by 8 a.m.
The Sig Alert was expected to last until about 8:30 a.m.
A diesel truck struck an ax and a picnic table on the eastbound 210 Freeway east of Foothill Boulevard, causing a fuel leak. The CHP issued a Sig Alert and closed the Foothill on- and off-ramp from the eastbound 210. Caltrans came to the scene to clean up the fuel spill.

A black pickup truck drove off the westbound 210 Freeway and down an embankment west of Highway 330. The California Highway Patrol said the vehicle possibly overturned, but landed back on its wheels.
Two to three vehicles collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway west of Riverside Avenue, blocking the two left lanes.
A crash involving five vehicles blocked three lanes on the westbound 210 east of the 57 Freeway. One of the vehicles overturned in the 5:33 a.m. crash. Lanes were reopened at 7:30 a.m.
A woman jumped out of a moving vehicle on the eastbound 210 Freeway east of Towne Avenue, suffering injuries. An ambulance came to the scene to take her to a hospital.

A gray Chevy Tahoe struck a light pole and overturned on the westbound 210 Freeway on the Sierra Avenue off-ramp. The vehicle rolled back onto its wheels.
A silver Ford Expedition struck the center divider and flipped over on the westbound 210 Freeway east of Ayala Drive. The vehicle blocked the carpool and fast lanes. A caller said the driver had been in eastbound lanes and landed on the opposite side of the freeway.
A crash blocked the carpool lane on the westbound 210 Freeway at Euclid Avenue. The CHP issued a traffic advisory due to the congestion from the crash.
A red Ford pickup, a green Nissan sedan and a third vehicle collided on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Fifth Street, blocking lanes.
A white Honda Accord veered off the Cherry Avenue off-ramp from the westbound 210 Freeway and went over the side of the road. The CHP said a blue Toyota Corolla may have also been involved in the crash and was blocking lanes.
A grey Chevrolet Silverado spun out and stopped about 40 feet over the side of the State Street off-ramp from the eastbound 210 Freeway. There were no reported injuries.
