Retail and consumer expert to meet downtown business owners

A retail and consumer expert will be in town to speak to downtown business owners.

The Downtown Long Beach Associates will offer downtown business owners two free seminars with speaker and author Barbara Wold on Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 at the Found Theatre.

Wold will bring to merchants ideas that can be put into action immediately to create additional and repeat business.

From 8 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 11, the DLBA and Wold will host 'The Wow! Feel,' designed for the food and beverage industry.

From 8 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 12, Wold will speak on 'Killer Marketing with Little or NO Money' for small business owners and managers who want ideas for effective promotions, public relations techniques and online networking tips.
 
The seminars at 599 Long Beach Blvd. are free to current or prospective downtown business owners and managers. Space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 562-436-4259 or e-mail VanessaM@dlba.org to register.
