Executive Chef Larry Banares, Events, Attractions and Entertainment Director Paul Haught and Assistant Sales and Marketing Director Stephanie Teichman have been recruited to the ship's new management team.

Banares returns to the Queen Mary 17 years after beginning his career there. Joining the ship from the Hilton Torrey Pines, Banares will focus on refreshing the ship's cuisine in Sir Winston's, Chelsea seafood restaurant and Promenade Café.

Teichman worked in hotel sales management with Hilton and Starwood, served as senior director of tourism for the Salt Lake City Convention & Visitors Bureau and oversaw the hotel sales department of LA INC, Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Haught joins the ship after two years with Thinkwell Design & Production, a Burbank-based consulting company serving the global attraction and event industry, where he consulted on projects from Southern California to Asia. He was also manager of entertainment operations for Knott's Berry Farm from 1995 to 1998.
