More than two dozen restaurants and cafes are offering discounted lunches on Friday, March 5, to folks who take part in Car Free Fridays and Lunch Breaks for Cyclists.

The discount will be offered on Friday from 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Cyclists need only mention the promotion and show proof of ridership in the form of their helmet or bicycle lock key to take advantage of the discounts.

Visit www.bikelongbeach.org for an updated list of participating Long Beach restaurants. Restaurateurs interested in participating may contact Transportation Programs Planner Courtney Aguirre at courtney.aguirre@longbeach.gov or 562-570-6667.
