Pomona mayoral candidate George Hunter leads with absentee returns

With absentee results in, George Hunter has a slight lead over Elliott Rothman in the race for Pomona mayor. Hunter has 1,180 votes (37.46 percent) to Rothman’s 1,010 votes (32.06 percent). Complete results

Outgoing mayor Norma Torres was expected to be elected Tuesday to a position in the State Assembly.
