A Bob Hope Classic

I'm here in Palm Desert for the Bob Hope Classic, so check here for updates, stories and more. Linda Hope, Bob Hope's daughter, was here for a press conference this morning. She told the story of how her dad and mom, on their first date, sketched holes on courses in New York that they both knew.
``It was the thing that drew them together, a thing they enjoyed throughout their lives playing,'' Linda Hope said. ``So often as kids on Sunday, we would have to take our little golf bags and follow behind and it was a source of great amusement.''
