Five-way tie for Bob Hope lead

| | Comments (0) |

Tim Petrovic, Matthew Goggin, Joe Durant, Omar Uresti and Shigeki Maruyama all shot 65s to lead the tournament. Four of the five players shot 65s at the Classic Club while Uresti's came at PGA West. Today was the first round and there are four left. If you don't see any big names on the leaderboard that's because none of the top-20 players are in the field and just three of the top-30 are here.
