From the U.S. Open: Gore struggling through front nine

Jason Gore was thrilled to qualify for the U.S. Open, but this U.S. Open doesn't have the beginnings of his dream outing at Pinehurst in 2005. Gore is 5-over through eight holes. He went double bogey, bogey, double bogey on holes 4, 5 and 6.
