Tiger wins the U.S. Open

Tiger Woods won the U.S. Open over Rocco Mediate. The two were tied after 72 holes and again after today's 18-hole playoff. Woods won by parring the seventh hole, the first extra hole. Woods at one point had a three-shot lead, which he squandered. Mediate rallied and played as well as anyone has going toe-to-toe against Tiger Woods.
