Journey at Pechanga opens

| | Comments (0) |

Journey at Pechanga, a new golf course at Pechanga Resort & Casino, opens to the public today. I checked out the course yesterday, and it's definitely unique. There's a lot of elevation changes, including a 300-foot drop off the sixth tee, and there's a great view from the tee box. Corey Pavin, a UCLA product, is an ambassador for the course, and he hit the opening tee shot down the middle of the fairway. The course was designed by Arthur Hills, who drives around the course with his foot on the brake in his golf cart. Click here to check out the Web site. I'll have more in next week's golf section of the Daily News.
