Jerry West told a local radio station recently that he hopes to hook up PGA Tour players who compete in the Northern Trust Open with tickets to the NBA All-Star game Feb. 20. West, the tournament's director, got several Tour players Lakers tickets, including his own, last year. The NTO's final round was played on Super Bowl Sunday last year in a quirk in the schedule. This year, Staples Center is hosting the NBA All-Star Game on the final-round Sunday of the NTO.
