Fred Couples birdies the first three holes at Riviera, including a chip-in on No. 2, to regain the lead at 12 under. Aaron Baddeley is a stroke back, with Vijay Singh in third at 10 under. Kevin Na bogeyed two of the first four holes to drop back into a tie for fifth at 8 under.
