This is one of my favorite golf columns to write all year... the good, the bad, the ugly and everything in between on the golf course... Hope you get a laugh or two out of it.

Tiger Woods is taking yet another hiatus from golf since he didn't make the FedEx Cup playoffs, but but Woods need to regain that competitive edge by playing golf.< Whether it's the Nationwide Tour or European Fall Series, he needs reps.

Pat Haden played a round of golf on the East Coast a few days ago, and after one shot, he was swarmed by a nest of wasps he unknowingly hit that were underground. Haden was stung all over on the face and hands, and friends tried to help shoo the wasps away. Haden estimated there were about 50. Haden said his face was swollen - although there are no longer visible effects - but there were visible marks on his hands. Now that's an unforutnate golf shot. Haden noted that he still parred the hole, even after the attack of the wasps.
