Haden encounters swarm of foes on golf course

Pat Haden played a round of golf on the East Coast a few days ago, and after one shot, he was swarmed by a nest of wasps he unknowingly hit that were underground. Haden was stung all over on the face and hands, and friends tried to help shoo the wasps away. Haden estimated there were about 50. Haden said his face was swollen – although there are no longer visible effects – but there were visible marks on his hands. Now that’s an unforutnate golf shot. Haden noted that he still parred the hole, even after the attack of the wasps.
